When I travel back to Rhode Island I have to get NY System Hot Wieners and J&T's is my favorite spot. It's not just the food, the service is top notch, I always feel welcome and it is what RI is to me. Great breakfast and lunch in a family owned diner.

This is the best restaurant for families, food, service and atmosphere. The food is not skimpy at all. Prices are great. This has been my family favorite for years and years. You will end up making it a point to get here multiple times a week or month. They serve everything. Breakfast,lunch and some different dinner type options. Fish and chips are the best also. Great looking local place that is very welcoming with a cozy hometown atmosphere. I was greeted with a friendly smile by both staff and customers. The decor was both nostalgic and vintage which made me smile inside and out. The menu selections are wide and vast that should be able to satisfy most anyone's taste, desire or cravings. Tina is the owner and takes the time to meet and greet the customers. Elaine is an important element to the successful operation and management of this wonderful place. I got the fried fish and white chowder along with the baked fish and red chowder for my mother. We loved all of it!!! Needless to say, I will be a returning customer when I go back to Rhode Island. Great work Tina, Elaine and the rest of the staff; as Arnold S. says, "I'll be back".

When I am in RI I need to have some NY System Wieners and they are really good right here at J&T's . Sure they got a great breakfast and other items for lunch but I always get Wieners. Go figure! Family business and you will feel welcome. Not a great choice for vegans but what wiener place is?

Tina's breakfast special is huge, comes with two eggs, two bacon, two sausage, home fries,two pieces of toast, And two pancakes or french toast and a coffee for $14.99.

I tried J&Ts Grill for the first time and it was fantastic. I was driving by and stopped for gas and realized I was hungry. And right there in the little plaza was J&Ts and the sign said breakfast served all day. I had one of the best cheese omelets I have ever had. Don't hesitate!
