New Asian food court opened in the Bally's Twin Rivers Casino, with some expansion to incorporate true table gaming and add'l slot machines. Little hard to find the place initially, especially when parking was full at the main entrance and I ended up at the South entrance - far opposite. No signage - had to ask twice for directions. Nice presentation, plenty of doors, some automatic. Taking you into a Boba and pastry station in the middle. I didn't see any hot coffee or tea, just Boba drinks and then a variety of Asian pastries - sweet and savory. May try some in the future. Plenty of seating, though on a Saturday afternoon it was not very busy - may be a little late for lunch, too early for dinner? The hall had a central kiosk with a bank of 5-6 self-service ordering machines, but unfortunately, the system was done. I assume you order what is on the paper menu. Everything new, so all was pristine. Some decorations for Asian New Year coming up. I don't recall any theme music and the doors and windows looked into the casino or outside. Looks a lot like the Asian food court at Mohegan Sun. Long counter split up by Cuisine by country - Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai and Japanese. With the self-service ordering kiosk down, you had to go to the cashier, stand in line to place your order. Not realizing you had to stand in the right register by Country - so don't stand in the Chinese line if you want Japanese sushi, etc. On a Saturday afternoon I found it odd that all the steam tables were covered and snacks or take-out boxes, etc were sitting on the covers. If they are not busy on a Saturday afternoon, I doubt on a weekday they use the steam tables at all. With the ordering kiosk down, the cashier was running from the register for the orders to the pick up order area, packing the order and handing to the order to the customer - back and forth walk of at least 30-40 feet, even farther if you were working the Japanese register - at the opposite end. They have to work out the kinks in the operation, as people were getting annoyed not knowing which line to stand in, how to place an order, being directed away from one register to another. I placed my Chinese food order, asked if I could order a bottle of soda while I waited and was told I had to stand in another line - really? So, skipped the soda. Imagine if you had some Chinese food, some Vietnamese soup and some Sushi - do you have to stand at three registers? I hope the ordering kiosk is only temporarily down, otherwise they better find another system. Staff were hard-working - kitchen looked clean, chefs I could see in Chinese, Vietnamese, no one in Thai or Japanese stations. We decided to try three dishes - General Gao's chicken - $28; Crispy Noodle with shrimp - $28; and beef with broccoli - $20. Kind of expensive compared to local take-out, but we are always on the hunt for more authentic, fresher ingredient dishes. Came with two containers of white rice. Brought it home and we were a bit disappointed. Larger round containers for the more expensive dishes - Gao's chicken had way too much breading, not sitting on any veg like broccoli, or even julienned lettuce. No dripping sauce, no hot peppers, just chicken nuggets coated in a red sauce. The crispy noodle w/ shrimp was okay, not many shrimp, the noodle looked like cheap ramen noodles, and veg was typical. The beef and broccoli was just okay - the broccoli was a bit wilted/overcooked and the beef lacking any flavor. Just minimum presentation. Will try again, but the cost for the quality was not there. Over $70 for three okay dishes is a bit much. Don't mind paying $70 for great dishes. Also, the casino really has too much smoke wafting in the air. If not cigarette smoke, you could also smell the stale air of past cannabis use. Fortunately, the Food Hall was glass enclosed so none of that odor.

I don't know why people expect so much service from a self serve ordering place. There are HUGE kiosks and you pre-pay for your food. There are different categories and regions for your food. They have HUGE screens that show your food is being prepared and then ready. What are people going to do when AI takes over?Anyway, I love the food here...I always get the duck noodle soup with Ho Fun Noodles. I've had the pho and it's also great. Yes it's $25 but people throw $25 on a table to lose in a second? I don't get it. It's a huge portion as well with a Deep bowl. What more do you want? Free? Lol

I get hungry while the co-reviewer is endlessly feeding the slot machines so I decided to try the new food court on two different occasions.Emerald Bay is very clean and has a lot of interesting options but other than the bakery setup everything else is pretty much ordered via a touchscreen. Both meals were basic chicken dishes and they were over batted and under seasoned. For the price I would expect at least comparable restaurants quality especially considering how modern and large the cooking facilities are in this place. If you are stuck here like I sometimes are I guess you have to make due but there is no way anyone would make the trip just for the food.

The prices are very high for the food. More expensive than golden dragon at foxwoods without the restaurant.$28 for any chicken dish (Tso, Orange for example). Than $16 for fried rice. That’s $42 for Asian chicken & rice self serve? The food is not bad, but the confusing ordering process and prices are why it is flat out dead.

Very confusing ordering process. Cafeteria style with separate stations for different Asian cuisines. Great concept….just poorly organized. Tried their Hot and Sour that tasted like it may have been cooked with a dirty sock. Also had a spicy tuna roll that was not spicy and tasted like the fish may not have been fresh.

(EMERALD BAY FOOD HALL ONLY NOT CASINO!)Tonight my partner and I went to Emerald Bay Food Hall and ordered 2 pork chops and rice. When we picked up the pork chop order from the Vietnamese section my partner asked for some hoisin sauce. The woman who worked there with a dyke hairstyle (spikes and manly) raised her voice and said “why do you need this??!!! You did not order Pho!”. My partner even offered to pay for the sauce and she continued to yell at him. We had no issues with Emerald Bay Food Hall before they were extremely nice and accommodating but this is the first time we have seen this employee. This employee must be new. Please teach your employees some respect and humbleness.

Emerald Bay Food Hall is a new dining experience at Bally's Twin River Lincoln. It was a little hard to find where the food hall was located so I needed to ask one of the employees. It is by the table games in the casino. Once you walk in, you'll see a counter with bubble tea options and bakery items. Behind that counter is many tables for seating and the kiosk. You can order at the kiosk or at the register. I took a paper menu first to see what was available and then went to the kiosk to order. There are options for Vietnamese, Chinese, Korean, and Japanese food. Some menu items did not display on the kiosk. I ordered the Vietnamese fresh spring roll (summer roll), special pho noodle with rare steak, brisket, beef tripe, and beef nuggets, and the roast duck noodle soup with flat rice noodle. The screens tell you when your order is ready. When the order is ready, you can go up to the counter depending on which cuisine you ordered from to pick up the food. The summer rolls were very good. The broth for the pho was delicious and all the ingredients were on point. The roast duck and the noodles tasted really good. All the food was so filling. The food hall was very clean. It's so nice to have a food hall in Rhode Island that has authentic asian food. I can't wait to come back!

It's inside the casino. Foods are pretty expensive. I bought 2 pastry and couldn't believe I paid $16 for 2. Same pastry goes for $1.75 at Foxwoods. Chinese entree was $28 for orange chicken.

Can’t speak to much, but the prices are high. The Chinese Hot and Sour Soup is the worst I’ve ever had. Walk to the other food court. Jackie’s Galaxy Express is MUCH better.

Brand new offering at the Bally's called EMERALD BAY FOOD HALL. They are still working out the kinks in the service. When you enter it's a little unclear how to order or what is on the menu. There is food from Japan, Korea, Vietnam and China. You can order from the kiosks or the register. I ordered the tempura bowl (shrimp, veggies and plain white rice) and a coconut drink. It took a while before I realized that I pick up my order at the end of the counter. Then it took another 5 minutes for me to find out that my drink was out of stock . I went to the counter (I had ordered from the kiosks) and ask the cashier. She then produced a ticket with my name stating that they were out of my selection. She gave me another drink and I was on my way. Fortunately - the food is outstanding and I will be back. This is my new favorite Asian food court in Rhode Island
