Trattoria-JR Ginger Express is one of our favorite spots! Upon arrival we were seated promptly and acknowledged by our favorite server Hannah. As usual there are many great menu items available to select from, all reasonably priced. The only small and very unusual hiccup last night was the time it took our Entree's to be served. We had started with the Calamari as our appetizer. It was excellent as usual. Once we finished with it (there were four of us) so we were engaged in conversation, our server came by to check on drinks and apologize for the length of time it was taking for our entree's. While we had noticed this, we weren't overly concerned as we were with friends whom we hadn't seen in quite some time. Once served, the quality and plate presentation was excellent. Everyone was happy with their dinners. Our server did let the manager know about the long wait for the entree's and dessert was comped, which was certainly appreciated! We will most certainly be back. One little hiccup in over twenty-five visits doesn't change our outlook on this little gem in Lincoln.

Food is always excellent. We had a 7:09 reservation and we had to wait 30 minutes. We made the reservation 1 week prior, the wait was too long. 10.95 for a piece of cake seems excessive.

My wife had a salad, seemed small for the amount of money and were just a few beans found. She also had salmon and was charged a total of $36.95. A salmon entree is much cheaper than a salad with a side of salmon. Most restaurants charge a total of $24.00 for a salad with a side of salmon. We will not be back to the restaurant unless we can get a simple salad with salmon and not pay $36.95.

Have been coming here since we moved to the area for the last 2 yrs. My young daughter is picky like many children. Our first time there she got a pizza which isn't on the menu but said they could do it. Second time all of a sudden they couldn't make that anymore said they used to get it from next door at their pizza place wouldn't do that anymore which ok I get it. From then on always dinning on a Fri night or Saturday she would get a grilled cheese which they would use their bread that they give the table when you sit down, again not on the menu. Fast forward to last week when we went, for some reason they had the bartender waiting our table and was terribly slow and inattentive. When it came time for my daughters grilled cheese order, all of a sudden they can't make that anymore. I'm sorry but C'mon grilling cheese between two pieces of your bread??! Any self respecting kitchen would easily do this, and they have for the last 2 yrs. Very disappointing. Not to mention terrible value: chicken parm dinner, eggplant parm sandwich no side, side of pasta plain, order of fries, no drinks: $55 before tip, sad. Will be trying out Pats Italian when it opens in Cumberland in the spring.

Very enjoyable dining experience. Sat at the bar. The bar staff was friendly and accommodating. Meals were excellent- very tasty. Mixed drinks, however, although good, were a little pricey.

As always, the service, food, ambiance and reasonable prices make this one of our favorite go to places. Hannah knows what top notch customer service is all about. Not to be missed when in the Lincoln area.

First of all our waitress Susan was wonderful. Very knowledgeable and suggested a wine which was excellent. I had a butternut squash Chicken salad which was Devine. My husband had the veal marsala. Sauce was very good but the veal was a bit chewed. All things considered a very nice experience.

Four of us went for lunch, three had the salmon salad and I had the tuscan sandwich. The tuscan is my new favorite. We all left full and happy. This is the perfect place for lunch with your customers.

First time here, took daughter out for Parents Weekend at Bryant University. We loved it!! Great atmosphere, the food was delicious, they made a great Lemon Drop Martini. Will definitely be back again, and again, and again!! :)

Had an amazing experience - first time at this restaurant!- was for a business lunch, but I would come back for non work related visit as well as a "to-go" order!! Fabulous!!!

Our waitress, Susan, was excellent. She made us feel like we were having a home cooked meal at home. The meal and desert were excellent as well. Definitely going to return for another great meal in the near future. Actually, going to make the reservation right now.

Aa always, TR Ginger Express is a gem. A great find a number of years ago. From start to finish, it shows the pride of which the owners take to make sure every patron is satisfied. From appetizers, the main course, dessert and drinks, everything is fantastic. I'd be remiss if I didn't mention the service. Regan was our server last night and is always spot on! If you haven't tried it, you should!

As usual we had an enjoyable dining experience with friends at TRGinger! The food was superb. Our waitress Susan was as usual exceptional! We got our favorite table by the window and also enjoyed the seasonal appetizer butternut squash ravioli which was melt in your mouth delicious! The seasonal sangria with pear and apple was wonderful! We are so blessed to have this wonderful restaurant so near to our home.

As expected, another great lunch here. Specials are a great deal and the burgers can't be beat. I had chicken special and my wife had a burger. Great seats near the bar by one of the windows. Seated almost immediately, our server, Audrey was great as always. Looking forward to our next meal here.

Ryan was our bartender he was very professional and attentive to details. The food was good but not outstanding. I always enjoy the bread. It's a nice neighborhood place and the staff always remembers you at least by site if not by name.
