They nearly doubled the price of their pastries and desserts. Last year they were 7.xx now they are 10.95. Absurd pricing and feels like gouging.

Food was great (pasta was fresh and delicious), service was phenomenal, atmosphere was nice and accommodating to children. Not a huge space, but we had reservations and it was great.Kid-friendliness: Pizza wasn’t on the menu, but they were able to order it from the pizzeria at the other end of the building and brought it down for my son.

Trattoria-JR Ginger Express is one of our favorite spots! Upon arrival we were seated promptly and acknowledged by our favorite server Hannah. As usual there are many great menu items available to select from, all reasonably priced. The only small and very unusual hiccup last night was the time it took our Entree's to be served. We had started with the Calamari as our appetizer. It was excellent as usual. Once we finished with it (there were four of us) so we were engaged in conversation, our server came by to check on drinks and apologize for the length of time it was taking for our entree's. While we had noticed this, we weren't overly concerned as we were with friends whom we hadn't seen in quite some time. Once served, the quality and plate presentation was excellent. Everyone was happy with their dinners. Our server did let the manager know about the long wait for the entree's and dessert was comped, which was certainly appreciated! We will most certainly be back. One little hiccup in over twenty-five visits doesn't change our outlook on this little gem in Lincoln.

Food is always excellent. We had a 7:09 reservation and we had to wait 30 minutes. We made the reservation 1 week prior, the wait was too long. 10.95 for a piece of cake seems excessive.

Me and my family get 2 Alfredo's (one with shrimp one with chicken) and 1 chicken Parm to go and we eat at home. the first thing I noticed when I opened the To-go box is that there was no shrimp visible in my food. After some digging I find 3 measly shrimp the size of my thumb in my food(10 dollars extra by the way), in the other alfredo the chicken was cut into baby sized pieces. And the alfredo itself was not good, I found that the pasta has 30% cheese and 70% butter which was quite distasteful. If it wasn't for the chicken Parm then this place would deserve 0 stars. I could have probably spent the same amount at the restaurant Nextdoor trattoria romana. Very disappointed, I hope this restaurant makes big improvements for the future

Excellent food, somewhat slow service with outdated place. Visited a number of times for the good food, always busy but thats because the food is that good.

My wife had a salad, seemed small for the amount of money and were just a few beans found. She also had salmon and was charged a total of $36.95. A salmon entree is much cheaper than a salad with a side of salmon. Most restaurants charge a total of $24.00 for a salad with a side of salmon. We will not be back to the restaurant unless we can get a simple salad with salmon and not pay $36.95.

Have been coming here since we moved to the area for the last 2 yrs. My young daughter is picky like many children. Our first time there she got a pizza which isn't on the menu but said they could do it. Second time all of a sudden they couldn't make that anymore said they used to get it from next door at their pizza place wouldn't do that anymore which ok I get it. From then on always dinning on a Fri night or Saturday she would get a grilled cheese which they would use their bread that they give the table when you sit down, again not on the menu. Fast forward to last week when we went, for some reason they had the bartender waiting our table and was terribly slow and inattentive. When it came time for my daughters grilled cheese order, all of a sudden they can't make that anymore. I'm sorry but C'mon grilling cheese between two pieces of your bread??! Any self respecting kitchen would easily do this, and they have for the last 2 yrs. Very disappointing. Not to mention terrible value: chicken parm dinner, eggplant parm sandwich no side, side of pasta plain, order of fries, no drinks: $55 before tip, sad. Will be trying out Pats Italian when it opens in Cumberland in the spring.

Very enjoyable dining experience. Sat at the bar. The bar staff was friendly and accommodating. Meals were excellent- very tasty. Mixed drinks, however, although good, were a little pricey.

Always amazing service and food. You will never be disappointed we come at least once or twice a week!

Had lunch on a Monday with a friend I haven’t seen in awhile. The music was blasting so loud we had to yell to have a conversation. We asked our waiter if he could turn it down. Didn’t see much of a difference and the worst part of all was one song playing had very inappropriate lyrics which included many swears. We were glad we didn’t have our kids with us. My friend had never been before so needless to say she wasn’t impressed. We both loved the food and atmosphere except for the music.
