I ordered my food online so it would be ready to take home when I arrived. I got there when it said it would be ready, which was 30 minutes after placing the order. Once I got there, I had to wait an additional 20 minutes after arriving for my food to be ready. Do not waste your time ordering online from here because your food will not be ready when they say it will be.

So this place made my Valentines Dinner a memory to cherish, it was great. The food came quick, and was delicious, but the highlight of our night was our server Rick. This man was on top of everything, but was incredibly personable, respectful and interactive not only did he ensure we had everything's for our meals but spoke with us, cracked jokes with us and made our night a great night.

Haven't been to Applebee's for awile as it's usually garbage food and service. I was staying at the hotel next to it, actual door is connected to the restaurant. I sat at the bar and the happy hour menu is pathetic, 3 items and the only beer is PBR. Was going to order a draft IPA instead but all draft beer is out. Okay, I'll have a miller lite bottle. Out, okay bud light. It was warm so the next beer I asked if the Bud original was cooler and she said yes. So I ordered the beer and they wouldn't let me take it to my room. That Message was delivered with attitude. You guys suck, won't EVER be back!!!!

Amazing if you're staying at the hotel. Pretty good prices, great service, and a fun atmosphere. Conveniently located near Shaw's so you can get your groceries done before or after. Excellent portion sizes and pretty tasty hot food. Fantastic if you don't wanna microwave or deep fry anything at home and feel like supporting the local economy. I was personally deeply confused by what they meant when they put "Asian" on the menu which apparently translates to sugary sauces and dry chili rub, so I guess they're going for Thai? All I know is the waiter was just as confused as I. Awesome oreo shake though! It's also only ten mins from the naval base and downtown. Highly recommend for cheap alcohol if you don't wanna mix or measure it yourself. We have eaten at this Applebees 10 times at least due to having stayed at the adjacent hotel regularly for several months. The staff is always very friendly and they know us at this point. Very military friendly. I recommend the chicken and Mac and cheese. Great place to eat with kids as well.
Arrived to Newport at around 10 pm and in the off season. We didn't want the late night menu (finger foods), that most place that were still open, were serving. This was our only option. Service was normal but I ordered a medium rare rib eye and received a cold well done one instead, broccoli smelled funny, the mozzarella sticks were cold as well. Manager comped my rib eye so it wasn't a total loss.
