I am really surprised the good reviews of this place, ordered the fish platter and the food was so oily to the point I couldn’t eat it. They ask you to order and pick up your food on a plastic ugly plate and tray. Never again to this place

ordered take out today at flo's lg clam with belly and a small fried scallop. 70.00 dollars. Couldn't believe the price. I've had better clams elsewhere. Scallops were good. I'm sure the price is up there with all seafood but this is crazy. Just saying......Might want to rethink getting the clams right now. Hopefully they'll go down in price.

Flo's was out of this world! We got the seafood platter and both of us split it and a cup of chowder with was so good and picked up a hint of bacon. Food was excellent!

I have been hearing about this place for years and finally tried it. The service was very polite. We had a group of four, and we shared a couple of platters. We alI wanted so much to like it, but everything was greasy greasy greasy. I won't be returning.

I really wanted to love this restaurant. The reviews and location (right next to our hotel) drew us in to this restaurant fully expecting some of the best seafood we have had. The staff was absolutely wonderful, enthusiastic and engaged fully in their jobs. Such a wonderful group assembled there just made you feel like family. We were instantly so impressed by them. My husband ordered the platter for us to share (about $60 with one soda, water, and tip) and when the food came, it looked beautifully inviting. A large piece of fish, about four scallops, approximately 10 shrimp, a fair amount of calamari, a decent amount of clams, and a serving of really pretty darn good mayo based coleslaw. But alas, the serving of coleslaw was about the only thing we finished on the plate. Unfortunately, we left most of the food on our plate. While it looked beautiful, the food was just not good. The batter didn't stick to the seafood, it was under seasoned, and unnecessarily greasy. Frankly, we just couldn't find the desire to eat past the first few bites of our meal. It was disappointing at best. The staff was so nice my husband didn't want me to write this review. He didn't want this locally owned business to suffer a bad review because we liked them so much. But we also don't want people to pay $60 for a meal they just don't like, either. Our hope is that they will read this review and fix whatever went wrong. Maybe the oil was old? Fingers crossed it's as a simple fix as this.

The Cod Fish and Chips and creamy Clam Chowder was delicious. Visiting from Alabama (decided to drive from Long Beach, took the ferry, and drive to Plymouth Rock) and we were looking for a good authentic place to eat with clam chowder. It was ALL delicious. Flo’s was perfect. Thank you.
