Jimmy's portside is a very special family run business that makes amazing "home style" seafood and fried favorites. As a British person I can by far beat fish and chips in Rhode

Enjoy their chowder and clamcakes. Sat inside for the first time. Easy access on a walker. Like looking across at Block Island boat etc.

This place is amazing you got a try it the lobster rolls were unreal. The New England clam chowder was the best I ever had and the clam cakes delicious. We had to wait a little bit in line, but it was well worth it!

My wife stay in Narragansett RI every Memorial Day and Labor Day weekend. We always make sure we go there for lunch. My wife gets the lobster BLT and I get something different always. Totally Awsome good good atmosphere. Deffinitly go there if your in the area. Right across the street from the block island ferry

Large menu with gluten free options. Large portions on the seafood platter. Will definitely go back. Worth the 1 hour+ drive for me.

Cash only, good atmosphere. I've been going to Jimmy's portside for many years this is the worst experience, the food was absolutely. Really disappointed. After many years of being a loyal customer I will not be going back there anytime soon.

Perfectly cooked scallops. The cod sandwich my sister had was great, too!

Please go elsewhere. Your lobster roll will certainly not be as good but my wait in line will be shorter. I love the sweet and salty RI lady who works the window. The Portside Special is another fav….great Bloody Mary with some big shrimp. Oysters are fresh and yummie. This is a great place to drop hundreds, eat at picnic tables and watch the ferries come and go. I can’t wait till next time.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly location and menu.

Family tradition to grab lunch after a day at the beach. It will continue on as long as we do. Chowder and clam cakes are always the best here! Choose to sit outside or go in and take a break from the sun and watch a game.
