the three stars is only for the server because he was amazing. the food was also good but the MANAGER charged me double for my food and had the audacity to come up and be utterly disrespectful to me about it. saying that it shouldn't matter because it's only a couple dollars and MOCK me for asking for a refund. i have never received treatment like that from an establishment and it tarnished my view on the restaurant.

Good, not great, food, with reasonable prices and portions. Busy most nights, and small, fun bar. Service at the bar was a bit lackluster, perhaps they were overwhelmed by the crowds. Solid choice for good food. Would repeat.

We stopped by this place while we were visiting Rhode Island and so glad we did. They have parking on property and we were seated promptly as soon as we walked in. They have plenty of gluten free options to course from and are flexible in switch out things to make a dish gluten free. My husband got the salmon crab cake duet and I got the shortrib, both were delicious. The ambience is casual and matching the name is a cute coastal cabin indeed. I got a mango margarita and my only complaint is that it was too sweet for my liking so if you like sweet drinks this is a great choice .Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

Very affordable good seafood. The lobster salad was amazing!!! Fresh large pieces of lobster with tomatoes, avocado and blue corn chips. I ate the entire plate! Really fresh and tasty. My husband ordered the seafood chowder and it was good. In would agree with the other reviews that it was a little salty. For the main course I had the grilled salmon with crab cake. It was a lot of food. The salmon was very very good and the salmon was good. Too much food. My husband had the stuffed shrimpAnd he ate everything on his plate. It was also very good. For cocktails I had the grapefruit martini ?. I really enjoyed it. Tasty and not too sweet. My husband has the very (black berry?) old fashioned and it was also very good. We will definitely return. The service was also very friendly and attentive.

Wonderful experience and food at the Coastal Cabin. We took the family for dinner. The ambiance and service were exceptional. The staff was very nice and accommodated our dog upstairs (great location BTW). I got the crab cake sandwich which was excellent. My wife got the scallops. She said it was the best she's ever had and I agree. We have a new goto on our next trip back to pick up our son from URI.

Very disappointed with my meal. One piece of the fish in my fish and chips dinner could not even be cut with a knife!They did take half off the price. Crème brûlée was very good! Will probably not return for dinner. Maybe lunch sometime.
The food was absolutely delicious. My friends ordered the chicken waffles and I ordered the fish & chips. The mango margarita may have been one of the best I have ever had! I was disappointed that we could not sit upstairs during the Sunday brunch but maybe next time!

1/2 price apps are creative dishes and fun to try, and oh yeah DELICIOUS. Cozy inside, smaller menu, everything is good. We like to go when we skip lunch but it is too early for dinner - thus the apps are the perfect solution. We would return.
