My husband and I stumbled upon this lovely spot driving around the Narragansett area. The food was phenomenal as well as the service. I got the Mortadella Fritto which was a delicious combination of fried Mortadella, provolone, salt & vinegar potato chips, shrettuce and mustard on toasted white bread. The Salty General is the SPOT for sandwiches! Both the Cubano and the Trotter were delicious. The bread and ingredients were super fresh and the portion sizes were unmatched. You can tell the owners love making people happy with their amazing menu. 10/10 experience. Btw…get the brownie…it is a perfect sweet treat!

This was my first time at the salty general! The owner, Philip, was so nice and made me this beautiful sprout sandwich with Turkey . I switched out the cheddar cheese with the provolone, and OMG it was an absolutely delicious . Also, I got the brownie, which is so yummy and is the perfect balance between sweet and salty. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. I'm definitely coming back soon!
