Best sushi in RI. Can't even begin to describe how good it was. Beef roll, firecracah roll, California roll, gyoza are all delicious.

Tsunama is the place to go for great sushi and more. We’ve tried almost every nigiri, and could not love it more. The Hibachi/Teriyaki dinners are fit for a king…or queen. The atmosphere is relaxing and pleasing. The service is outstanding. They also have a full bar. If you have not been to Tsunama, you must visit, even if sushi is not your preference. If you have been, you will most likely return.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free and vegetarian option with plenty of rice, noodles, fruit and vegetable options.Parking: Plenty of parkingWheelchair accessibility: Easy to access from the sidewalk

The atmosphere was amazing and fit for a first date or a birthday dinner. This is truly my favorite place. First time coming here and the staff was very attentive. The sushi was fresh and the best one in the area. Highly recommend this place to sushi lovers.

Some of the best sushi I’ve had and I’ve had a LOT of sushi lol but not only was the food amazing the owners were so nice. The sushi is really fresh and the dumplings and miso soup were very good. I’m from New York but I’d make the drive just to eat here!

Odi and Tia are hospitable, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is warm. Highly recommended are the Nama Crisps, Firecrackah Roll, and the Slammin' Salmon Roll. All of the sashimi was fresh and tasty as well. So glad I visited!

First time here and wanted to try a bit of everything. The dumplings and crab Rangoons are literally the best in Rhode Island coming from people who have sampled most of what RI has to offer. If you’re ordering sushi the firecracker roll is a must. Pad Thai and drunken noodles were incredible. Service was friendly and fun. Seasonal caramel appletini was on point. We’ll be back for sure.

This tiny spot has new owners but as locals, we have seen many incarnations of this restaurant space. It's def intimate in the dining room (but hi tops in bar area seem quieter) and you will hear your neighbors at the table next to you. So be aware. If they are loud, it can be noisy. But it's mostly fine, as everyone seems to be enjoying themselves. ((If you have hearing impairment/devices might not be the spot for you...due to the proximity of tables, lively nature of acoustics and the loud music overhead.)) BUT the food is great. I've been twice and no complaints on food. Sushi seems fresh, portions are ample, and chef is making it in full view of the whole restaurant. Kinda cool. At two visits my martini was very watery, like they left it in the shaker too long. Need to fix that. It was like a watertini. Try the nama crisps! Could be a meal for 2. Excellent. My adult kids have been twice too, and said: "this is the best sushi we've had since we lived in NYC". So there you go. Good luck to Tsunama!

Fantastic little gem we found tucked in the Pier Marketplace behind the Police station. Food was fantastic and the menu is extremely well balanced we just the right amount of choices and variation. Service was super friendly, food quality was excellent, and price was a little lower than what you would expect in today's climate. We had spring rolls, edamame, sushi, noodles, spicy Thai stir fry, dumplings, sashimi... All was excellent!

Came here with my family on our annual vacation as I wanted some fresh sushi but they don't like sushi. We liked the variety of options they had here.We basically ordered some of nearly everything on the menu -- I got a bunch of nigiri and a special roll, we had a few people get the hibachi chicken+rice (with noodles), a stir fry, an udon and a few apps.Everyone love their food. The nigiri was fresh and delicious and the diablo roll was really good and surprisingly decently spicy. I tried some of the udon and the hibachi chicken and rice and they were both great as well. The sushi wasn't super value price-wise; it was just average or maybe even slightly expensive, and the stir fry dish looked pretty small. But I thought the udon and the hibachi chicken + rice were great value, lots of leftovers went home. Adding noodles for $6 gets you a huge plate of noodles in addition to the fried rice, so that's a good add on.We'll definitely be back next year!
