Friendly and helpful staff providing a variety of creative lunch offerings, though primarily sandwiches. parking lot adjacent, and benches / table in grassy area out back. Trees provided welcomed shade. The sandwiches were large and nicely put together. Prices at the going rate for Block Island. We would drop in again.

We arrived at 11am because that’s what they had entered on Google. But they didn’t open until 11:30a. We were the first guests to arrive at 11:30a. They were still just setting up and were not ready to open on time. Then, a male friend of the hostess arrived and she took his order before she asked us for ours. She then proceeded to ask the next male customer and he kindly pointed out that we were there before him. She recited other menu items available, “big delicious cookies. Chili.” But when I ordered the chili, she admitted it wasn’t ready yet. The meatloaf sandwich was fine (though cold - I guess I expected it to be warm), just nothing special considering the price. Though only steps away from where we’re staying for a week, it is for these reasons we will not return.

We stopped there this week for a quick bite and the sandwiches were so delicious. I loved the names of all of them too! What I most appreciated though was the service…my toddler son was having a hard time while we were there and one of the workers was so sweet to offer him a tour of their kitchen and a chocolate chip cookie. I appreciated the kindness and understanding they showed us, thank you!!

Casual sandwich and salad stand with a small but appropriate menu. Outdoor (only) seating is available. Bike rack is present. Service is quick. Recommended.

Best sandwiches we had on Block Island, probably why they sold out early one day. Saw lots of locals ordering there, usually a good sign. A Twisted Sister and a Hippie Sister became our go to order. Chocolate chip cookies good, too. Friendly service. Each sandwich is made to order and they do get busy so expect a line but it moved pretty fast.

Sourdough pizzas were spectacular

Wonderful sandwiches and arguably the best value on-island; also it’s a locally-owned business that’s been there for decades.Staff members are always friendly and hard working; service is fast.

Their sandwiches are touted as so fantastic — but the bread is really quite pedestrian. The ‘Twisted Sister’ was served on a bland white grinder roll. With minimal ingredients, the taste was predominantly bread. For a high priced sandwich (for which they won’t even post prices), it was a bit of a disappointment.

Nice atmosphere - outdoor tables, some under trees. Good sandwiches. Cash only

Good grief! Half an hour to get a sandwich! The warning was 20 people waiting for food, 2 people eating when I arrived. I have been here before, and the food is great! seems ridiculous that it takes so long. It does not help that their friends keep sticking their heads in the back door to socialize....
