I've eaten her 5-6 times in the last few months and usually get one of the pizzas. The food is quite good and consistent as is the service. The seating can be crowded with adjacent tables so close you shouldn't share your deepest secrets and the bar stools have no backing and nowhere to put your coat in cold weather but you put up with it.Get the Peroni on draft-excellent with the pizza!Parking: During tourist season and almost any weekend parking is tough.Try spring street or one of the hidden public lost between Spring and America's Cup.

She had the perfect balance of care without intrusion, as I lunched with an elderly trustee for my organization. The food was great— margherita pizza ??. The restaurant is employee owned. ??????

Ordered the prosciutto and fig flatbread pizza ($23). Very thin crust as expected and it was delicious! The toppings were spread out neatly and evenly. They provide scissors for you to cut.Also ordered the crispy maitake mushroom entree ($24). The mushrooms were so juicy. The dish was balanced and light. Disappointed in the pricing given its small size. But this isn’t a place you go to get full.We went on a weekday around 3pm so it was dead. Service was excellent. Location and atmosphere are great for a date! Beautiful Newport vibes and many shopping areas to meander around before or after eating.Would definitely come back again!

This was our first time at Bar Cino- the food was great, very comfortable atmosphere and Michaela gave us all the time we needed to enjoy ourselves but was always there to make sure we were happy. Definitely going back!

I rate all my stars accordingly to the place I am. So for an American Italian restaurant it's great. Love the concept. It's easy going, clean, and has a good vibe. As a chef I was very surprised by the quality of Italian food. Now is this authentic Italian... Probably not. But close enough for a place in Rhode Island. I really enjoyed eating here and it's fairly priced. We had the carbonara, which I'm extremely picky about. Was great. And then a brocololini, chicken pasta. Very well prepared, it goes fantastic with the vermentino white wine they have by the glass for 7$.Would definitely go back here and recommend it for any foody if you just wanna have a great meal

My wife, son and I had dinner last night. I had been to Italy separately with them and thought, let's see if I can find Rome in Newport. The staff is great, the hostess had a great smile and told us our table was almost ready, I like to be early for reservations. Our server Dylan I believe, understood that we enjoy going out and gave us time to talk, order a starter and then entrees. The food, was delicious, hot, tasty, presented well and was the closest to our visits to Italy as we have had in RI. Two of us had Carbonara and one, Chicken Milanese, all delicious. Our dinner in Italy ended with tiramisu and lemoncello always, last night was no exception and as good as we had in various places in Rome, Venice and Florence.
This restaurant is phenomenal!! From the food to the service to the music played to the perfect noise level it was a fantastic dinner! Our server was super on top of things and was super friendly. 2 of us had flatbreads and the other had pasta and we were all amazed by how delicious our meals were. I look forward to returning to Newport specifically for this restaurant!
I took my mom here for her birthday. Everything/one was excellent from the host to our waitress to the manager and the food!! The manager came over and gave my mom a birthday card, and it was so sweet. We weren't staying for dessert because we had cake at home, but the manager caught us as we got to our car to give us a birthday dessert to take home anyway. My mom felt so special. Thank you for a perfect night!

The dining area was great and the staff was very nice. We loved the food! To start, we always get the Tuscan kale salad (that dressing is amazing!), bruschetta, and this time we decided to share a pizza (great choice!). But the best part was definitely the chocolate coffee Budino. The creamy flavor and light, fluffy texture of the vanilla bean cream on top were so delicious! We love Bar'Cino, will be back soon! ♥️

While the food and service was exceptional the seating and spacing left little to be desired. I was seated way to close to other guests, the table could barely hold our orders and any time someone would get up to leave you would run the risk of your table being moved or shaken. Nothing can upset me more than having someone's backside facing my table and food while I try to eat. For those like me I suggest the bar seating as that will be less hectic and less disruption in your dining experience.

Restaurant seems like a local hotspot. We had a reservation and it was still a bit of a wait. The hostess took initiative and took care of us getting us a comfortable place to wait at the sister restaurant next door. Our waiter Dylan, was very attentive when we sat for dinner offering menu and wine suggestions and answering all questions. The food was delicious and the portions were perfect. We will definitely be back again!
