It is very rare to find a restaurant where everything is exceptional! We were served by Kim. She is a gem! We totally felt at home in this beautiful restaurant. Our meals were huge and delicious. The place was packed and everyone seemed to be enjoying their Monday night out!

Worst Rueben I have ever had. They called it a double Reuben for $18 but it should be called a 1/8th Reuben.Ps. I'll delete and replace this review in a week because I normally love y'all, but wow this is a ripoff and you should know that.

4 adults and 1 two year old. We were sat quickly enough, but only given two adult menus. I had to go back to get a kids menu and more adult menus, but the hostess wasn't there. After waiting a couple minutes I just grabbed the menus myself. Our server seemed very busy and was nice enough. Time of service was super long. From sitting down to our entrees arriving it took 70 minutes. Our appetizers probably took about 25 minutes. Food was not good. Our fish was dry and had no seasoning, my wife's rice was actually crunchy, and the lobster roll was subpar. Unfortunately I can't recommend this place to anyone based off of this experience.

We were there on a busy Friday night but that doesn't mean excuse the poor service. The waitress was immediately turned off that it was “just the two of you?” And barely checked in on us the rest of the evening: she also noticed a tray of empty shot glasses and beer right above my friends head and didn't clear them until I asked her to. I have to say that the oysters we ordered were delicious and that's where it ends. I ordered scallops and my friend the steak, hers was unseasoned and bland, my scallops were well cooked but a little stringy and the “risotto” was like glue that had been reheated too many times without any flavor. This was a birthday, a special occasion that we booked a reservation well in advance for and we were treated like an annoyance: except for when it came time to pay of course. Very disappointing as we have been here before and it was much better.

While Midtown Oyster Bar has great oysters, its other menu items left me disappointed. I tried about three different types of oysters here and enjoyed each one. However the burger, salmon poke and fries felt extremely lackluster. The burger especially felt very mediocre. It did not have enough seasoning on the patty and the bun was too overwhelming in the burger. The fries that came with it tasted unsalted, and oddly very similar to ones I've had in my middle school cafeteria in my memories. While understandable that this is a seafood restaurant, the other dishes on the menu were below standard. The service was OK and the atmosphere was pretty nice. Overall, I'd recommend this restaurant if you like oysters and drinking.

Went on Thursday night, food was wonderful. Tim my server was terrible and very inattentive. Was more interested in talking with the manager on duty then serving me. Both were awful. Bad Tim!!!!!!

Had a wonderful experience at Midtown Oyster Bar on Friday night. Previous times here we have been seated on the first floor or in the bar area where the noise level gets pretty loud. Last night we were seated on the 2nd floor where the noise level was much lower. We enjoyed our dinner without having to yell to be heard across the table. All of our meals were perfectly prepared. Well done Midtown Oyster Bar.

I thoroughly enjoyed the experience here and the variety of oysters. I had four different kinds of oysters which were phenomenal, very fresh, and as described. I think my favorite oysters here were the Davenport and Wellfleet. I had the Salmon with rice pilaf and roasted asparagus and my BFF had the lobster roll. It had a lot of lobster but it was served on a small bun. Entrees were delicious too but the oysters stole the show for me. For dessert. A key lime pie. Technically it's really a muffin since that's the shape it comes in, but still phenomenal and very fresh tasting. I would definitely come back here.Parking: Finding parking will be difficult for weekends and dinner hours

We were greeted and seated promptly, given menus and water and allowed ample time to decide what to order. After drinks arrived our apps came straight away and were delicious. Mussels and fries, fresh briny oysters labeled for their location and calamari scantily breaded and perfectly cooked spoiled us for any others we'd had before. Our entrees were also excellent. Service was spot on, well done all around! Can't wait to be back in the area and visit again.
