Mori Sushi has the best sushi on the island. We usually dine at the restaurant and always have friendly and fast service. Tonight, we ordered take-out but forgot to add a Japanese soda through doordash. I called the restaurant and the manager was able to finagle his way into the doordash order and add the soda to it. He made a 6 year old kid very happy and I am grateful for his efforts.Love, love, love this place!

Beyond exceptional Sushi. I lived in Japan for 3 years & this place has flavors & texture that rivals the best I’ve had in Japan

We came to this restaurant last minute as walk ins. The restaurant is beautiful — minimal decorations. As for the service, our waitress was very kind and on top of her game. She made sure we were taken care of.All sushis are made fresh on the spot. And they tasted great. We will definitely be back in the near future. It’s also very affordable we were surprised our bill was between 35-40$ taxes & tips in.Definitely recommend it!

We dined here two nights in a row and the sushi and staff were exceptional. The Philadelphia roll was the best we’ve had! Plenty of easy up close parking and they validate parking. Rating: outstanding!!

I've had sushi in New York City, Washington D.C., Chicago, and a couple other places, but nothing has tasted as good as Mori. It's never a disappointment when we eat there. I just wish they were a bit closer to where we live :) Next time I'll take some pics.

It's been a few years since I had such delicious vegan food in non vegan restaurant. Miso soup, avocado and vegetable rolls, and salad were delicious. When we came there, we felt like we came to our good friend that we haven't seen in a while. Andy made sure all our requests were satisfied. Very impressive service and amazing food! I'll definitely be back. Thank you?

Good for the area, but don't come here expecting objectively good sushi. Come here b/c Newport doesn't seem to have really good Japanese options. The sushi they specialize in seems to moreso be classic American style sushi which for what they provide is pretty decent, but if you're looking for good nigiri or some actual quality classic Japanese sushi, this isn't the place for it.I ended up ordering one piece of toro for $10, which is an incredibly fatty piece of tuna that's typically incredibly rich, full of flavor, and what many view as being the tastiest sushi option. Instead, what I had here was just... flavorless. It just tasted like a load of fat. I've had toro many times before. Whether it's o-toro, chu-toro, even seared. And not only have they always been less than $10, but they've tasted significantly better than what I had here. All the other food was alright, but just forgettable so ?‍♂️

A group of us stopped in for lunch and we just couldn't get over how awful the service was at this place. The food itself was good. We shared some rolls and a Korean rice dish. The ginger dressing was fantastic. But the time it took to get someone to take our orders, get our food, and get/pay for our checks was almost comical. One person in our group asked for a salad that never came, but we were charged for. We couldn't find our server when we needed to dispute that charge so we had to flag down someone who wasn't serving our table. We had to ask multiple times for utensils and water refills. There were not many people in the restaurant so we are not sure what the issue was. It almost felt like we were being deliberately mistreated and ignored. I would not recommend this business.
