I've been here 3X and had pizza with great little olives, a chopped salad w/charcuterie meats, and another visit just salad. The atmosphere is charming and modern, the sourdough pizza crust is really refreshing. Drinks & wine list match, refreshing!! Staff is friendly. It's located near parking and has a great little vibe!! Mother does know best! ;)

My daughter brought me for dinner on my visit from California. We started with the house made burrata, cacio de pepe garlic knots, and mozzarella sticks. I will 100% be craving these when I get back home. HIGHLY recommended all three. The mozzarella is topped with a tad of marinara and bonito flakes... AMAZING! Since I won't be back before my daughter moves, we decided to order two pizzas - Margherita and Fun Guy (mushroom). Since we weren't thoroughly satisfied with the Fun Guy, they took it off of the bill. Which I did not ask or expect, but greatly appreciate. To finish, we had the absolute BEST pistachio gelato I've ever eaten in my life. We had my grand babies with us, and all of the staff was very kind and accommodating. Overall very satisfied.Dietary restrictions: A gluten free crust is available for any of their pizzas.

Why is this place so popular? The hostess is rude, wait time for a server is long, pizza is NOT all that. Will not come

Delicious Caesar salad, Tuscan, and fun guy pizzas. Bartender and service very solid, and overall great vibe. I am sure in season it's crazy busy with that beautiful oven.

The restaurant has a very friendly, calming & relaxing atmosphere. The decor is inviting. Right now they offer a few complementary bar snacks during their Aperitivo hour from 4-6 only during the week along with one of their Aperitivo cocktails. The chickpea fries are awesome. Nice & crunchy they are served with a green goddess dressing. The other bar snack is homemade pizza flavored chips which are also good. They make their own sourdough crusts as well as offer homemade gluten free crusts. Started with the chop chop salad which I highly recommend. Such a nice blend of flavors & the Italian dressing is so flavorful .For pizza I chose the Super Tuscan Pizza. Toppings included soppressata, mozzarella, tomato & broccoli rabe. Such a wonderful combination & blend of flavors. My friend ordered the Fun Guy with gluten free dough & included roasted mushroom, caramelized onions , mozzarella & added artichokes. I loved that they have different types of mushrooms combined. I tried a piece of hers for the gluten free taste & the dough was really good. It is a bit pricey compared to other pizza restaurants but the flavors presented brings it to another level. I will definitely return to try some of the other items along with their homemade gelato which I didn't have room for this time around .

Pricey but excellent food! House-made burrata was a small portion but the flavor pairings were amazing and the cheese was delicious. Pizza crust was very flaky and soft, some of the best I've had recently. Menu had a great combo of classic pizzas and unique toppings- something for everyone! Service was efficient and ambiance was nice!

Painfully slow takeout order. A manager watched the cashier struggle with the POS system. Did nothing but chat with a waitress while the line grew, and grew. The old, dry slice was $8. For a slice of stale pizza. I'm serious. I have to wonder if they ever eat their own product

Calling this place a pizzeria is an insult to all Italian restaurants....it is a high priced place to rip off the tourists....local beware!!

Attended a Pre-Wedding celebration here. The service and the food were exceptional. We went back for lunch before we left Newport because the food, drinks and service made us want to return. The Tequila Thing drink was very good. Our waitress was fantastic.

Took a chance because of reviews and menu looked great and was very happy we did - one of the best dinners out in along time. Great pizza, friendly staff, great service and some premium ingredients (the pickled calamari was amazing - melted like soft noodles in your mouth). Drink menu is tops and the "DIY" charcuterie plate is a great idea that works really well if you're a foodie willing to trust the staff - they offer great advice if you're a little lost for choices. Pricing is pretty good - no pretentiousness, just honestly well selected ingredients that work really well. If your expecting a "meat lover's special" pie, look somewhere else and spare everyone your petty "1star" reviews and head over to one of the many other pizza-parlors around. Trust me, I like a junk-pie as much as anybody, but you should know what makes a good pie special and Mother makes some of the best around. Their sourdough crust is fantastic, gave them their name and you're not wasting time or money ($18 for a 12" pie made with sourdough strain fawned over for a few years shows the level of care put into the food and the restaurant is pretty inexpensive - and a great way to spend your cash). The ambiance of the room is threading the needle between "pizza parlor" and "high-end" but they're doing their own thing and it doesn't compromise the food - it's a great start, though. And anyplace that has high chairs is "family friendly" - which is a great addition to the Newport food scene where family dining options are few and far between.
