got the Cuban and a cup of tomato soup with crumbled feta. Both items were served nice on which was great on this cold day. Really made for a good lunch.

Enjoyed the cuban sandwich. Bread tasted fresh and had great flavor. Hey only complaint would be the portion, I still left a but hungry but maybe that means i just enjoyed it a lot and for someone else perhaps the portions would have been fine.

I am giving a 5 star because the food was awesome, the place was clean, including the bathroom, and it was literally a one man show. It was pretty busy and the guy running the place kept his cool and still managed to be friendly. Thanks so much. Highly recommend!!

There are a ton of restaurants in Newport but I always go to The Panini Grill for a quick meal. The place is very un-pretentious. It has several choices of sandwich, always grilled into a panini. I had the meatball which also included fresh tomato and onion and a good amount of cheese. My friend had a sausage and pepper panini. The paninis are deceptively filling. While they don't look really big when they're served, they are definitely filling, and we ended up taking 1/2 home with us. And the best part was that with chips and drinks it was all under $20! But be aware, there is usually only 1 person working. So be patient! I'm sure if he could find someone to work, he would, but RI is suffering a lack of available employees just like everywhere else. So be patient! This hard working guy takes the orders, makes the food, delivers the food to the table and all this with a smile on his face. So I give him kudos!! I'll tell ya, this is a great place to eat if you're on a budget or just looking for a basic meal that is really good.

I ordered a tuna melt that was very delicious. Some of the quick bite places to eat are now open certain days now off-season. This place is open all week. Im so glad this place was recommended to me. It was a bit busy also but it was okay.

Delicious paninis- great place to stop for lunch during a day trip to Newport! So good. I got the tomato mozzarella basil and it was delicious.

We popped into panini grill after a full day of walking around Newport. The guys behind the counter were cool. Sandwiches were great- we got a chicken pesto panini and a tuna melt. They seemed to be getting a lot of phone calls so if you're in a rush maybe call ahead because those orders are prioritized!

Took around 30 minutes to get our sandwiches which were underwhelming. They need to hire more staff and get a few more Panini makers.

This is an affordable and quick option for lunch in Newport. There are several options to choose from. I got the Buffalo chicken salad because they were out of gluten free bread. The sauce was pretty good. We got our food right away

This place is awesome. I always get the buffalo chicken on a baguette and it never disappoints. If you are looking for a quick and affordable lunch spot, look no further. Seriously I love Panini Grill. To the guy who was working on August 4th at 2:15, you are great, thanks for working so hard.

Found this place which was perfect for a quick bite to eat while walking around town. I had the BLT and my husband had the Reuben. We both commented on how we wished there was a little more substance to the sandwiches. Overall they tasted great but they were just lacking the meat. There was some cute seating outside which was nice.

A very fresh tasting, a great sandwich. Expensive, but probably normal for Newport.

This was the BEST SANDWICH IVE EVER HAD. My boyfriend and I went here to grab a quick bite not expecting much but these paninis were incredible. I got the chicken ranch club and he got the chicken cordon bleu but yeah my world is rocked we’ll be back here every time we come to Newport. I wanted to get one on our way back home but I figured we’ll keep it a special occasion thing because it’s that good. Thank you panini grill for blessing us with the most amazing picnic items of our life.

This panini was a great pick me up roaming the streets of Newport. The menu has good options for paninis and you get to choose between 5 different bread types. Unfortunately, they were not all available this day. My friend wanted to get the buffalo chicken panini with the gluten free bread but the gluten free bread was sadly unavailable, so she got the salad instead. There are also options of salads and soups. I got the chicken panini with broccoli, pepper jack cheese, and chipotle mayo. They were also out of the herb focaccia bread so I chose the sliced italian. This panini was good but nothing crazy. The bread was toasted wonderfully and the broccoli was a nice touch, however it seemed like the chicken, pepper jack, and the chipotle mayo were lacking in flavor. I would've loved the chipotle mayo and the pepper jack cheese to have more of a spicy punch to it. I think that would've made the sandwich go from average to a pretty damn good panini. I would recommend this place if you're looking for a nice, quick lunch spot in Newport. The price is pretty good too! Both of our meals came out to only $9.

Delicious sandwiches. Waited about 20 min for 2 paninis, but they were the perfect grab-n-go for a picnic on the cliff walk. We loved the Italian!
