Nothing really exciting about this place. Average sandwiches and usually a kid waiting on you and making the sandwiches. If you're hungry and need to fill a hole, it will do, but you won't be fantasizing about a sandwich from this place.

Due to covid restrictions, ordering is on the phone and food is to-go only. Breakfast was delicious and well priced. coffee was great. Will definitely return.

We ordered a sub by phone from the sidewalk and waited on the side of the building for pick up. No customers allowed inside. The sandwich was very good and the roll was fresh. Staff was friendly.

stopped in to grab a sandwich for lunch during the off-season. They have an easy website for online ordering and then you just go to the window on the side of the building to pick up your grub, easy easy. Got a custom turkey sub with smoked turkey, LTO, and honey mustard with a side of chips all less than $10 with tip. The bread was nothing to write home about but the other ingredients were fresh tasting and worked well together. Give them a try!

Best place to go for breakfast in Newport. Some would say the gold standard of breakfast sandwiches. Nice view right on Thames Street. They always have a couple brewed iced coffee flavors ready to go. Omelettes are perfect. They just don't miss with the S.O.S! Highly recommend.

Really enjoyed our sandwiches from Peaceable Market today, absolutely delicious! I ordered 'The Red Onion', one of their most popular menu items - smoked turkey, bacon cheddar, Granny Smith apple, mayo / grilled to perfection and just stuffed with meat/cheese. My son ordered a scrambled bacon, egg cheese sandwich on an everything bagel... again, very generous portions. To drink- suggest trying their iced coffees- the special flavor of the day for us was Hazelnut - and this was delicious too - better than Dunkin and Starbucks. They are currently a call ahead/order online takeout restaurant due to Covid-19 restrictions, but we were able to receive our order within 15 minutes of placing it online- and a friendly staff member greeted us at the take-out window. Peaceable Market is a must try if you are in the 'Lower Thames' area of Newport. Can't wait to go back again later this week!

Posting 4 stars because the last two sandwiches have been exactly what I wanted! Croissant, apples, brie; I chose ham. Went back and tried the same with cheddar. Nice people, cute and convenient. In the past had bread that wasn't as fresh as I prefer. Go with the croissant; or ask about the bread. Good place!
Peaceable Market is my favorite breakfast/lunch spots in downtown Newport. The owner and employees are very personable and hardworking. Calls are always answered and the orders are always ready quickly. The food is great quality. Thank you Peaceable!

Bad. Closed 30 minutes earlier then what time they said they closed. I was wanting to pop in for a sandwich but was devastating to find out that they completely closed 1/2 an hour earlier then their posted time on their window and on here.
