Our server Nick was super attentive and helpful in ordering! The cocktails are so fun and I loved the mocktail menu! The plates are shareable which is great because I wanted to try a few things! The atmosphere and decor is beyond amazing! I just kept looking at all the tiny details that made the vibe feel very authentic tiki bar! Along w great tunes and a gorgeous view of the harbor and Newport Bridge!

We came down for the weekend from Massachusetts, looking for a nice spot to have a nice drink in the winter season in Newport. Did not expect TIKI!! My wife and I have always been a fan of Diego's, had no idea they could translate to tiki so well. The atmosphere inside is incredible! Island style art, lights, top shelf rums. The food was straight of Polynesia as well. Island fried rice with pork belly was exquisite. The crab and corn rangoons and mahi mahi tacos are also incredible. But the drinks and service are what really sell this place. We sat at the bar and our bartender Dan was awesome!! He helped us navigate the complicated tiki drink menu, and ended up making us a fruity rum drink in a pig glass, AND one in a shark glass. Dan was great, explaining the drinks and even giving us other places to go in Newport. He also told us about an upcoming deck expansion to the fish house! Would definitely recommend going in while it's still a hidden gem!

We enjoyed our 2 dinners here. Great burger!! Fish snd chips way too heavy on breading ( even for a southern girl) The chili and cornbread were spectacular! I make a better pecan pie but don’t live in the area so good for New England. Enjoyed talking with the servers and manager.

My friend had made reservations for the boat parade and thought this would be a fun spot. This location used to be a favorite spot in Newport for cocktails and their amazing goat cheese cheesecake, so I was excited to see the new business. Cocktail menu is super fabulous and was the highlight of our experience. The fun tiki cups just make it special! Be warned: it's $30 if you fall in love and decide to leave with them. It's really up to you if that's worth it. For bites we ordered the fried rice, a wing special, crab Rangoon, and spam sliders. The wings and fried rice were the shining stars, I could've done without the other two. It's not that they were BAD, just nothing awe inspiring. Some of the members of our party were still hungry so we followed that up with chicken sliders and chowder fries, but I think they'd gotten too busy, because they were cold when they came out, and honestly nothing to write home about. I'd probably come back for drinks only, or maybe one shared dish before seeking out dinner somewhere else.

A great place in Newport to be for lunch on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. We tried their lunch specials - crab & corn Rangoon, coconut shrimp & their Lobster sliders. All three are their must tries and we would love to come back for sure to try their crab chowder & other specials. Very warm & welcoming Polynesian themed ambience with great staffs add to their charm.

It was restaurant week and we received great service from Casey! The atmosphere was nice with great views of the wharf. Unfortunately, we were incredibly disappointed in the Management. The GM was not at the hostess table the whole night. We waited 15 min for him to greet us. Watched 2 groups walk out. He never supported our waitress at all. We sat through our whole meal with three tables surrounding us left uncleared. The bartenders were doing shots.

I wanted to enjoy this place so bad, but it was pretty bad. The decor was charming and the service was great, but the food...... awful flavor combinations, most dishes lacking seasoning or salt, and the textures were weird.

The worst service I’ve ever experienced. Our waiter (on the 2nd floor of the restaurant, young guy working the bar and waiting all tables) was rude multiple times to our table of 8 people and it took over an hour to get any food served. He told my table that we were being “too loud” when he was taking another tables order. I’d own it if we made a mistake but it was a laughable statement as I had my two month old son strapped to my chest and he managed to sleep undisturbed while we were being “too loud” for our precious waiter. We were in Newport for a wedding and are a group of friends simply catching up, no one had more than one drink. Don’t go here if you want a quick casual bite, there are far better options in Newport

Here is the most important detail of my visit. I left a bag there that is very precious to me. They held onto it and are going to send it back to me. (I live out of state.) The person who took my call was so kind and I am so grateful. As for the food, I had a great drink called East and West (or close to that) and a delish ap that and chips bites or soemthing like that. So tasty! Now that I am getting my bag back home, the night is even better!

This was the most pleasantly unexpected meal of our trip to Newport this year. First, the service was outstanding. On a Sunday night with a waitress and host only, the place ran seamlessly with a full room. The food was something truly unique. The Island Fried Rice was phenomenal, as were the ribs. Even something as simple as the mango salad had a wonderful spin. We truly cleared every plate. (P.s. they have a specific Gluten Free menu if you need it - just ask!) And finally the beverage program was excellent. My wife enjoyed her two house cocktails thoroughly, and the non-alcoholic options were two of the best zero-proof cocktails I've had in the past year. All super tasty and well balanced. Highly recommend this joint all around!! Look forward to returning next trip back! P.s. while the view isn't directly on the water, the view from the dining room of the wharf is a nice experience. However, if the top floor is open, the best views would 100% be from atop.

The food was mediocre at best. The drinks were terrible. The staff was ok. Typically what you would have expected of.diegos wharf and any of their venues. Shouldn't have gone but felt like trying somewhere new. Had high hopes but should have gone with our instincts.

We were on Bowen Wharf and saw their menu and decided to give it a try. Boy were we glad we did. My husband got the fried green tomatoes tacos with tater tots. It was one of the best tacos he’s had. I got the cold lobster roll with French fries. The lobster was fixed with mayo, celery and chives. So yummy and delicious. Our server was so friendly and attentive. We ate inside but they also have outside dining.
