Food is delicious !! Everyone in my party loved their meals. We ordered the fried calamari appetizer (4 people shared it ). The mussels were delicious !! Shrimp piccata with linguine (Yummmm ). Dinner portions were very generous !! Very warm and relaxing atmosphere. Wait staff was wonderful !! I highly recommend this restaurant. You won't be disappointed !!

If you really want a good seafood experience, this is the place to go. Fish is as fresh as can be. The only reason it doesn’t get five stars is the service. I’m always OK with service that might be a bit slow, even inaccurate, but always have an issue when the waitstaff is just rude and unfriendly. Our lady appeared “annoyed“ with us. Not sure why. Especially since it was a large tab with a big tip. There’s always one cranky apple in the bunch. Again, looking for great fish. This is the place to go. If you want great fish and good service, there’s plenty of other places in Newport.

The monkfish could have been great but they charred it so black I couldn’t taste anything but burnt.My partner had monkfish marinara and they put sugar in the flower Ruined the taste of the fish. Would not ever go

The hostess gave us a warm and positive welcome and was very accommodating. Our server, Alex, truly stood out as the finest we've encountered in Newport. The culinary offerings were equally impressive. For starters we enjoyed Gorgonzola chips and a glass of Director's Cut Cabernet. Our entrees included Scallops Piccata with perfectly grilled zucchini, Shrimp Scampi, and Monkfish Piccata served with the best grilled vegetable kabobs. To end on a sweet note; we savored tiramisu and a decadent chocolate lava cake served with vanilla gelato. The menu has one of the most extensive selection of seafood options in Newport. We look forward to our next visit. Bon Appétit!

My favorite seafood restaurant in Newport. They don't accept reservations, so waits can be discouraging. The menu on the blackboard changes often ensuring everything is fresh. Servers are focused. Upstairs is quieter, but the menu is limited. Only regret is they can't seem to keep their fabulous clam pizza available. Still, this is one of Newport's best.Parking: Parking in Newport anywhere near Thames is a challenge for visitors and residents alike. I suggest trying either Spring Street or Wellington Avenue.

We ate in the restaurant on the 2nd floor. We were seated but we decided to leave. Some customers were very loud. The waitress offered us the outside porch, which was wonderful. We had our own private spot. It was perfect.
