The food is delicious and our waiter was very nice. However I thought it was really weird that I was charged a credit card fee on a cash transaction. It was even worse that when I brought it to the waiters attention, he said he had to go to the kitchen and never came back. It’s weird to charge credit fee period, but even crazier on a cash transaction.

HIGHLY disappointed in this restaurant. The reviews are very deceiving. Prices are extremely high as well.I ordered the chicken wrap and specifically asked for my French fries to be cooked longer to not be soggy and the waitress brought out the plate with WAY undercooked French fries. I worked for years in the service industry and it’s our job to make sure the customer’s orders are correct. She took them back to be recooked, but that should not have happened.The wrap itself was very bland and did not have a proper balance of food to veggies. There was also no bacon on one side of it and just a bite size on the other. The waitress did bring out a side of bacon for it. Yet again, it should not have happened.My friend ordered the lobster fries. The sauce was so rich. The fries, again, were soggy. They needed to be cooked much longer if all the sauce was added to them.The restaurant was busy. I would not recommend this place to anyone. There has to be better places in Newport.

There is a hostess station on the first floor, but you need to go to the second floor to put your name on a wait list and get a pager. Waited at the bar. Asked for a lemon drop martini, all i got was vodka citron in a martini glass, nothing fancy. Pager went off, had to go back to the second floor for them to tell us our table was ready and on the first floor. Chowder and coconut shrimp apps not very tasty. Ordered dinner and received the wrong dish and had to wait. Waitress was very apologetic and comped us a dessert & chowder.

While I enjoyed the French onion soup I can’t say that anyone else’s food was very impressive. I just expected better for a 4.4. The sweet potato fries were barely cooked but the fried pickles were over cooked. The chicken bowl was supposed to be in teriyaki sauce but it tasted more like soy sauce.

Whether being seated at a table with a great view or seated at the bar the friendly, professional service is still the same. Their food is excellent, with many selections to satisfy everyone's preferences. Also, a wonderful assortment of cocktails. Highly recommend if you are visiting Newport.

They offer popular dishes that cater to a wide audience, so you can take pretty much anyone here and they’ll leave satisfied.I think the location of the restaurant is the most appealing factor to be honest. It’s right there and easy to spot. The place is rather large too.They serve the most picturesque French onion soup!

Great friendly staff! The majority of the hostesses were super friendly and accommodating (It only takes one to sour one's overall experience). Thank goodness for the rest of the hostesses understanding their roles. Our server was amazing kudos to her!!!Location and atmosphere were very pleasant.Typically, I don't rate a place if I can not give it 4 or more stars. But the staff minus one person, and the place itself was really nice. So, my 3 stars are for the food. It was just okay. I was expecting so much more based on everyone's recommendations. Therefore, I can not say I will be a repeat customer.

What a great place! Although the menu is a little large in a mini 3 ring binder, it actually is spaced out perfectly and not overwhelming at all! Food was delicious and the portions were good! Service was very friendly and the restaurant was super clean!
