The food is good, the experience is good but the service is bad, we were a table of 10, we spent more than $300 and it was around 8:00pm when the guy who served us said that he wasn't closing and that he had to leave and well I told him to send us the person who would close because my family and I were ordering drinks and no one ever came. I live about 5 minutes from the restaurant and well, in 7 years of living here it was my first time and the truth is I I do not recommend it for large groups, we are celebrating two birthdays and we are left wanting more margaritas ? and well, if the dreams see this last night I can see that it was a $600 bill and not a $300 bill and the rocker last night instead of Just seeing that he had exactly what he added as a tip could have seen that he had extra but how could he leave someone extra if he didn't give the extra.

Love this place. Rare for me to say things like that. All the ingredients tasted fresh as if they were made in house. When you eat at a family restaurants there are little things in the details that would escape the casual corporate diner. The music, the decor, the staffing, the place oozes with authenticity. It feels like an authentic Mexican family restaurant. When you see the staff eating here you know its a good place. Honestly, nothing tasted like it "came from a jar or can" it tasted fresh and homemade...well, maybe the sourcream was from a jar (thank the Americanization for that spin). I had the vegetable burrito and my wife had the Spinach Quesadillas. She found hers a bit too cheese, good but too much cheese for her liking. I had a bite and thought it tasty and again freshly made. Some mayfind a strong cilantro taste in the seasoning but it shouldn't be a surprise, it's Mexican, cilantro is in everything. The service this night was friendly and super quick. It was like "I barely put my menu down" and our food arrived. Keep in mind this was a Monday night...probably the best night to avoid crowds and get quick service. It's a must try if you've never been. I hear there's one in Cranston too. This place is definitely on the 5 Star Eat Again list.Vegetarian options: If you eat vegetarian then you know the drillParking: Drive. Find parking spot. Put car in park. Exit vehicle. Lock it. Goto restaurant . Enjoy.

The atmosphere was fun. The food is only marginal. Focused on quantity vs quality.

The tacos were just okay for me. I did appreciate the fish tacos had grilled not fried fish. The fish just lacked flavor. The spicy margarita was light,

It's worth the try. Tex mex is hard to find around here. I've been once so I can't say much. I had the chicken fajitas for two and it could have feed 6 people. I think it's definitely worth the try. Service was good and the ambiance was as it should be.

Very good find. Convenient location, close to Wickford village with a dedicated parking lot.Simple menu with just the right number of options. Great margarita and tequila selection (Try the Mezcalita). Complimentary chips and salsa for the table.Service was friendly and super quick. Food was awesome. Prices reasonable. Everyone in our party enjoyed it and will return when in the area.
