“Alma’s is a gem of a coffee shop and market in Wickford, RI. I finally hit the timing right to pop in, see the market, and grab a drink. The market is pristine with a great local variety of items to choose from. The service was friendly and efficient—I got the iced cardamom latte with oatmilk. I had a little bit of sticker shock with the latte price being just over $8.00 total, but the speciality iced drinks do cost more, plus I added oatmilk. The espresso itself was great, but next time I’d stick to a cold brew.I look forward to going back and trying more of the food menu next time since everything looks so fresh and delicious. (I’ve got my eye on the tofu bahn mi or the 8 1/2 caprese!)“
“Absolutely fantastic wraps and sausage egg and cheeses a little bit on the price your side if I could give them a 4.5 I would but overall fantastic food the banana bread is a little dry, but when you have a little water balances out Nutella toast is out of this world. It is made on shlty bread, but the shlty bread makes it taste even better. A lack of strawberries pisses me off sometimes, but overall I did give it a 9/10. Their location is very nice and the inside is very well furnished. Service is great. Seven minutes tops to get your food. I don't drink coffee or tea, so I can't talk there but overall the food is very very solid and would highly recommend them. People are also very nice.“
“Very good sandwiches, I had the Wick Fig and my wife had the Gilbert Stewart. Mine: for my taste buds was overly sweet, way too much fig spread, which overpowered the cheese and bacon to the point I had to relook at the menu to ensure it was supposed to be there. Still it was good, just not great for me. I had it on the multigrain bread, which was very good. I had also sampled my wife’s GS, which was actually much better than mine, because it wasn’t so sweet. Overall I would return and order differently. There’s no table service, so giving a service score is actually non applicable. Parking is free on street and I believe there is a back side parking lot close by“
“Dietary restrictions: Me and my husband came on a vacation to New Port both of us only eat kosher, and this place was amazing. We ate every meal here and even took food home for dinner each night. It truly made our trip so much more enjoyable, and all of the food is delicious. Everything I tried was delicious and super filling!“
“Drift Cafe is the most comfortable and beautiful cafe in town! Their drinks are incredible, with many different dietary options, and the food is healthy and delicious! The staff are the nicest people you can meet, very sweet and patient.I come here as often as I can before work, and it always brightens up my morning!Vegetarian options: Most meals can be substituted for vegetarian ingredients, and even the drinks that are traditionally dairy have many non-dairy substitutions!Dietary restrictions: These people are very aware and very polite about dietary restrictions. Every ingredient is on the menu board, but if you have a specific restriction, all you need to do is mention it, and the staff will do their best to accommodate!“
“Today, my craving for a fresh and healthy smoothie led me to explore a local gem in Coventry, Rhode Island – "What's Shakin'." Nestled at 577 Tiogue Ave., this discreet protein shake and smoothie bar offers a diverse range of delectable shakes, teas, and smoothies.Upon entering, I was warmly greeted by Diego, a cool and friendly host, who generously let me sample some freshly crafted green smoothies. The "Green Goddess" and "50 Shades of Green" proved to be not only visually appealing but also refreshingly delicious. The former showcased a invigorating fruity essence, while the latter had a more potent minty flavor profile.Opting to delve deeper into their offerings, I decided on the "Go Green or Go Home" drink – a high-quality smoothie crafted from fresh ingredients such as kale, spinach, pineapple, banana, and orange. I chose to have it blended with a mix of half water and half orange juice, making it more energizing. I gave this drink a 7 outta 10.While the prices may seem a tad higher, it's evident that "What's Shakin'" prioritizes using premium, healthy ingredients. The investment in quality is unmistakable, making it a worthwhile choice for those seeking nourishing and delightful beverages. This charming spot is a true recommendation, especially for those in the area. "What's Shakin'" effortlessly combines quality, flavor, and a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring a satisfying experience for smoothie enthusiasts.FOLLOW ME ON Instagram @IGTYFOOD !!!“
“When it comes to coffee, I’m a no-nonsense drinker. However, the maple bourbon latte has led me to driving 40 minutes each way the last couple weekends to get my hands on it. It does get full and loud but I can tune it out. The staff are hella quick. Check out the baklava too!“
“Such great people and amazing shakes. I happened to drop both of my shakes all over my car and they came out brought me rags and offered to help. They remade my shakes and were just overall so sweet an amazing. The shake is thick and creamy absolutely delicious!! Great prices also.“
“I REALLY like this place. REALLY. Muffin tops, homemade bagels, fresh egg sandwiches, nitro, cold brew. Friendly staff. Clean. Inviting. What else do you really need to know? This is a definite go to spot. You're welcome. Thank me later.“
“Love getting my mega tea and my protein shakes. Sara, Adriana and Travis make you feel welcomed and a part of the family whenever you go in for a beverage. For me, the Mega tea called Mermaid water and a chocolate protein shake as a meal replacement.“
“This is the cutest place ever and the food is good. Everything I have tried there has been a 10/10 from the smoothies/bowls, the sandwiches, and even the overnight oats. The workers there are always so sweet and I never wait long for anything. Please support this business!!!!“
