“One of THE BEST Italian restaurants I've ever been to. It's a very intimate setting and the food is delicious! I had the Manicotti al pomadoro and my boyfriend had some farfalle cream dish, which was fantastic as well. We had tiramisu for dessert, and I'll just say we would've ordered 3 if we could eat it all. This is a must try spot!“
“Absolutely delicious!! My new favorite restaurant. The service was excellent. The bartender was friendly and made delicious cocktails- the pear martini was especially delicious. I had the duck ramen and my husband had the steak. Everything was outstanding. I highly recommend!!“
“My husband and I enjoyed the food. The atmosphere was warm and the service was very friendly. Our waitress was a little bit lacking that evening. She forgot to offer us foccacia and olive oil and crushed red pepper. She didn't know what the soup of the day was. She told us something different than what we were told when we were seated. Minor things, but important to quality service expected in a high-end Italian restaurant. All things considered, it was a wonderful dining experience.“
“We finally made it there for their famous Monday margarita and sangria happy hour. Busy, busy, so get there early !! Very good, but a bit confusing, as to when you are able to order from their super discounted happy hour food menu. The cocktails and food were all very good, as was the service !! Thanks and we'll be back for a regular dinner soon - everything looked so good !!“
“Great neighborhood bar with good food. Got the aviator cocktail, which was very good. The bartender was friendly and welcoming. They didn't have a lot of cocktail options. Food menu was mainly subs and sandwich melts. I got an Italian grinder which was quite good too. Overall good experience.“
“I'm a huge fan of bookstores. Real bookstores, with collections that have been thoughtfully built from the many thousands of available titles narrowed down to what the owners believe is worth putting on their shelves because they want us to buy them. Curiosity & Co isn't a big box store, and doesn't actually devote all of its floor space to shelving. Still, I've never failed to find a title (or 10) that's new to me but that I'd like to read. The shop has bestsellers, newly published works, and classics along with an inviting children's space. Free - beautiful - bookmarks are by each register: take one, or more, since they have lovely images of Aquidneck Island on them! There's also a wine bar, an upstairs space for readings (or book clubs, wine tastings, or private parties), and a beautiful patio area that also serves as a restaurant (for brunch and at other times).I've always felt welcome here, and have been comfortable picking up a book, buying a glass of wine and a bowl of salty nuts, and walking out to the patio. I can read a chapter or two in peace, deciding if it's the one I'm bringing home. This is what a bookstore is supposed to be like.“
“I've been here 3X and had pizza with great little olives, a chopped salad w/charcuterie meats, and another visit just salad. The atmosphere is charming and modern, the sourdough pizza crust is really refreshing. Drinks & wine list match, refreshing!! Staff is friendly. It's located near parking and has a great little vibe!! Mother does know best! ;)“
“Had the 2-course lunch special for $22 and everything was delicious. The lobster roll was served hot or cold, pictured is the hot roll with a nice garlic flavor on the bread. Steak in the sandwich was tender and not fatty and the fries are perfect. Service was timely, and serves was informative. Highly recommend trying them out.“
“The food and service were exceptional! Our server provided wonderful and attentive service, complete with fantastic recommendations. We appreciated the diverse menu options, encompassing both seafood and non-seafood choices. We visited on a Wednesday, when the raw bar is 50% off, so we ordered some fresh shellfish from the Narraganset Bay. The restaurant's ambiance was great, featuring a seaside view and quaint oil-fueled lanterns adorning each table.“
“Was there for new year brunch but they wasn’t prepared for the brunch and couldn’t attend the reservations. Hope they do better next time.Parking: Don’t get confused for the signs and park at the right parking space designated.Kid-friendliness: They do have high chair“
“This meal was refreshing to our palate and digestive system from eating heavy this whole trip. We are glad we stumbled onto this establishment. We ordered the hummus plate with veggies and my first time eating watermelon radish, now probably is my favorite veggie. Also my first time eating a wedge salad with a knife but worth it to have the best salad in a lifetime. Oh just to balance it all with a side of fries as I compared to Wingstop (sometimes not hot/fresh) cause that’s my standard of fresh hot good fires. Also not pictured is the Narragansett beer, is easily my favorite beer of all time due to being smooth that isn’t a lite beer, has the fullness of a beer and don’t taste the hopines of it.The service was 3.5 stars because we were the only ones when we placed our order and it took a minute to get our veggie plate…. but after that the other two came in a timely fashion. Service provided was welcoming the moment we walked in. Ambiance we had to imagine cause we were the only two until we had to leave but we imagined the full swing of this place of how lively it can be.**They have good plenty of gluten free options!“
“This is a wonderful local neighborhood restaurant. The food is well prepared and the owner is very attentive. There is a nice cozy feel to the place and it's located in a beautiful seaport village. The menu may be somewhat limited compared to the big places but what they do offer is done well. If you want a nice quite romantic evening out Tate's is the place to go. You won't be disappointed.Dr. D.“
