New Yorkers claim you can’t get a good bagel outside of the city, but that’s nonsense. You can get a lousy bagel in NY just as easily as a great bagel in Providence and this place proves the point. The bagels are legit. Bagel Express makes the best bagels in Rhode Island and in my opinion it's not close. I have tried every single joint in town and nothing compares to the perfect bagels here. I go to their Broadway location at least once a week, it's my guilty pleasure. The Smith St. location is where the magic happens though.. bagel magic.

I absolutely understand the hype of this place now. The bagels are absolutely amazing. 10/10 recommend the bagels here. The coffee isn’t the best but for a lil shop it’s not too bad. But I would go for the bagels.
