This is a nice little pool hall, I always have a great time when I'm there.

What a gross place. Food is disgusting. My brother got food here and it made him violently sick for a week. The owner was so rude to us, made racist comments to my dad and we saw him yelling at his staff too. Obviously I'm never coming back

I went to capitol billiards to look at pool tables and accessories. I met the owner super nice guy. Gave us a lot of attention, never pushed us to buy anything. He answered all of our questions. It was a great experience! We then went next door to the pool hall and restaurant. Honestly the place was great. First the entire place was clean. The decor was awesome. The style was spot on. The tables were fast and level, The balls were round, clean and balanced. Now if you think that should be expected from a pool hall I would agree. But I have been to a few places this is not the case. Either the tables are out of level, the balls are worn or the cloth is junk. My son, my wife's grandfather and myself all got burgers and fries. Burgers were great. The fries were very good. We got a few apps also. The cheese sticks were great. Cooked perfect imo. I also got boneless buffalo chicken wings and I won't give my opinion on these because I did not eat them for almost 40 minutes after they were brought out as I was playing pool. Yes I was aware they got delivered and it was my choice to not eat them right away. I will 100% be returning either weekly or bi-weekly. Just the pool hall part is worth the 35 minute drive. But add the good food, and a billiards supply store you can't beat it.

Edit: Not sure what the "?" Is for from the owner. If it is for the rating, I got what I paid for, whether orders were correct or timely may have been overlooked in the rating. One should look at it as constructive feedback.

LOVE coming to RI Billiard for a date night with my boyfriend. Easy going atmosphere where we can have a nice conversation without having to yell over the music! A MUST visit in Prov.

I don't think I can put into words how disgusting this business is. The food there took an hour and a half to arrive and when it finally did it was extremely cold. Not only that but after eating I immediately has to run to their DISGUSTING bathroom to throw up. I have never seen a bathroom in an establishment dirtier than theirs. It is an abomination. My husband ordered a beer and we saw it was over a year expired after checking the date. Absolutely foul. There was a customer going around selling nips so we just opted for that instead. Place is an absolute wreck, will be counting down the days until it closes down so a real restaurant/pool hall can open in its place. Definitely contacting the BBB immediately.

Went in to play pool, the bartender was very polite I ordered a drink and so did the other player I was with. We ordered a calzone so was told it would take about 45 minutes so we waited. Then after we were done the tab was paid, the rude owner came to tell us oh we aren’t gonna charge you for the calzone cause the oven wasn’t turned on right. Then the owner and bartender had the nerve to charge us for the water. Seriously? It a pool place not Gordon Ramsays restaurant.

extremely underwhelming. we got the jack daniel burger and french fries. the food felt like at best cookout quality. would not recommend to anyoneedit: and the owner needs to work on his delicate ego and inability to receive criticism or his restaurant will get worse and worse. he even claims that his bad reviews are "lies" or from "competitors" which is insane because no one is competing with a broken restaurant. went from 2 stars to 1.

Just so you know, in re the comment by Anthony Costanzo.Tony is the owner of RI Billiards. Posting a review of your own business is the same as "liking" your own comment.Tony treats his employees like dirt and privately holds his customers in contempt.---Edit: Wow! Took you 5 years to respond?

This place seems like where you want to be if you are a 50 year old pool player, but that's it. It is a super awkward place to eat, first time I went I was just told I would never get food and to come back another night, second time was weird too. Can't seem to get employees and seems terribly run.Notice from all the replies that what I said might just be correct ?

Stopped by this local bar and billiards hall located in the very center of Centerville, a small village in North Providence. We sat at the bar and were immediate greeted by a great smile and personality, Allison. She walked us through great drink choices and bar specials. We didn't partake in the billiards, however the spacious hall was full a quality tables and equipment. The facility was adorned by a large collection of sports memorabilia, old-time electronic games and a second bar. We did have the opportunity to meet the chef, Chef, Bruyere. His vibrant presence and engaging personality only added to the quality of this staff. This place has wonderful atmosphere and is likely the source of a great variety of good memories. Highly recommended
