LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED WHEN WE WENT OUT TO EAT. IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE EASY, JUST DINNER AT A RESTAURANT. BUT BOY, IT TURNED INTO A BIG MESS! I'M STILL REALLY MAD JUST THINKING ABOUT IT.ME AND MY WIFE WENT TO A RESTAURANT, HOPIN' TO HAVE A NICE DINNER. BUT THINGS WENT DOWNHILL FAST! WE SAT DOWN AND ORDERED FOOD RIGHT AWAY. WE WERE HUNGRY AND WANTED TO EAT SOON. WE ORDERD FOR 3 KIDS (PASTA AND CHICKEN CUTLETS) AND 2 ADULT MEALS (PASTA/CUTLET AND STUFFED CHICKEN WITH MASHED), THINKIN' IT WOULD BE EASY. BOY, WERE WE WRONG!UNFORTUNATELY, THE UNIVERSE HAD OTHER PLANS FOR US. AS THE MINUTES STRETCHED INTO ETERNITY, OUR PATIENCE WORE THIN. FORTY-FIVE AGONIZING MINUTES PASSED, AND OUR CHILDREN, TWO OF THEM GROWING INCREASINGLY RESTLESS AND VOCAL ABOUT THEIR HUNGER, WHILE THE THIRD, BLESS HER HEART, COULD ONLY EXPRESS HER DISCOMFORT THROUGH HER SILENCE DUE TO HER CONDITION (AUTISTIC AND RETT SYNDROME) IN A DESPERATE ATTEMPT TO APPEASE THEIR GROWLING STOMACHS, WE RESORTED TO BREAD, HOPING IT WOULD QUELL THEIR HUNGER UNTIL OUR MEALS ARRIVED.FINALLY, AFTER WHAT FELT LIKE AN ETERNITY, OUR WAITRESS WENT OVER TO OUR TABLE WITH ALL THE CHARM OF A WET SOCK AND DROPPED THE BOMBSHELL: "IT'S NOT MY FAULT, WE'RE SHORT-STAFFED," SHE DECLARED, AS IF THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO SOOTHE OUR FRAYED NERVES. NO APOLOGY, JUST A BLUNT EXCUSE. THE AUDACITY!ANOTHER EXCRUCIATING FIFTEEN MINUTES CRAWLED BY BEFORE MY WIFE MUSTERED THE COURAGE TO CONFRONT THE WAITRESS ABOUT THE ABSURD WAIT TIME. TO OUR DISBELIEF, THE WAITRESS HAD THE BOLDNESS TO DISPUTE OUR ACCOUNT OF TIME, INSISTING IT HAD ONLY BEEN AN HOUR AND FIFTEEN MINUTES. AS IF BEING OFF BY FIFTEEN MINUTES MADE OUR HUNGER ANY LESS VALID! THE NERVE!.BUT WAIT, IT GETS WORSE. JUST WHEN WE THOUGHT THINGS COULDN'T POSSIBLY DETERIORATE ANY FURTHER, THE WAITRESS DROPPED THE BOMBSHELL THAT THE COOK HAD LOST OUR TICKET. LOST IT! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT? WITH BEDTIME LOOMING OVER US LIKE A DARK CLOUD, WE HAD NO CHOICE BUT TO WAIT A LITTLE LONGER.AN HOUR AND 45 MINUTES PASS BEFORE WE FINALLY JUST GAVE THEM ONLY PASTA……FIFTEEN MINUTES LATER THEIR DESERT WAS CHICKEN CUTLET. AFTER ALL THIS MY WIFE AND I REFUSED TO PAY THE FULL BILL FOR THIS DEBACLE. BUT INSTEAD OF OWNING UP TO THEIR MISTAKES.AS IF OUR ORDEAL WASN'T BAD ENOUGH, WE WITNESSED OTHER PATRONS BEING SUBJECTED TO SIMILAR MISTREATMENT. COUPLES WHO ARRIVED AFTER US WERE SERVED AND FINISHED THEIR MEALS BEFORE WE EVEN GOT A GLIMPSE OF OURS. IT WAS A PARADE OF INCOMPETENCE AND DISREGARD FOR BASIC CUSTOMER SERVICE.ANOTHER CUSTOMER THAT IN AROUND THE SAME TIME, WALKED OUT AFTER 1:15 WHEN THEY WEREN’T SERVED.I PRIDE MYSELF ON BEING A GENEROUS TIPPER, 30-35% FOR JUST AVERAGE SERVICE QUALITY. BUT THIS TIME, FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE, I LEFT WITHOUT LEAVING A SINGLE CENT ON THE TABLE, EXACTLY WHAT SHE DESERVED. AND YOU KNOW WHAT? THE DISRESPECT DIDN'T END THERE. AS WE WERE LEAVING AND PUTTING THE KIDS IN THE CARS, THE WAITRESS OUT THE BACK DOOR HAD THE AUDACITY TO WISH US A "GREAT NIGHT" WITH THAT SAME CONTEMPTUOUS TONE SHE'D MAINTAINED ALL EVENING.BEING SOMEONE WHO AVOIDS CONFRONTATION, I RELUCTANTLY APPROACHED THE MANAGER TO VOICE OUR GRIEVANCES. BUT INSTEAD OF OFFERING A SINCERE APOLOGY, THE MANAGER'S FIRST QUESTION WAS WHETHER THE WAITRESS HAD APOLOGIZED.HOW ABOUT YOU START WITH SAID APOLOGY….SERIOUSLY? TALK ABOUT MISPLACED PRIORITIES! IT WAS CLEAR THAT THE ENTIRE ESTABLISHMENT WAS PLAGUED BY THE SAME ATTITUDE PROBLEM, FROM THE TOP DOWN……BUT WAIT THERE’S MORE.FROM WAY OUT BACK AS I AM LEAVING THE COOK WITH THE SAME CONTEMPTUOUS TONE…..HAVE A GREAT NIGHT.SO, TO THE WAITRESS AND THE ENTIRE ESTABLISHMENT, HERE'S A TIP FOR YOU:1-CHECK IN ON YOUR CUSTOMERS2-DON'T BLAME OTHERS FOR YOUR INCOMPETENCE3-AND FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT'S HOLY, APOLOGIZE SINCERELY AND OFTEN. It's really a shame when the food is so good but the service is ehh but you can guarantee that your order will be wrong more times than it's right. It's really aggravating because when you tell them it's wrong, you get an attitude like you're the one who messed up the order. Really a shame because I love the food here. Twins DO BETTER!!!!!

First let me say that we have never had a bad meal at Twins and we have been coming here all of our lives!! This is Pizza Week so we tried something different. We had Fig and Prosciutto pizza!!! It was beyond delicious!!!! They need to add this to their already awesome menu!!! I have never tasted anything that delicious and I have had Fig and Prosciutto pizza before. No one comes close to Twin's!!

By far the best old-school style pizza in RI, I would say it’s sort of Detroit-style and competes with NYC pizza, reminds Prince Street ?✨The folks that work there are so nice and hard-working. They get extremely busy so if you’re ordering pizza on a Friday or Saturday night, it would be best to pre-order your pizza earlier in the day.I would love if they did some new-school creative/specialty toppings for their pizzas ??

Long time fan of Twins…grew up in Fairlawn where we raised our sons and now continue to travel from East Providence since moving here 24 years ago… even the bridge breakdown can’ t stop us..best Pizza ever.
Told me my pizza would be ready in 20 min. Showed up in 25 min, they told me it's a little late 5 minutes. I waited an extra 37 minutes before giving up. They did not give me anything. I hate this place...don't go..not worth it
