I have been a customer of California taco shop for 2 years and have been going religiously every week with my wife and son.There is almost always something missing or wrong with an order and I normaly let it slide, however I’m sick and tired of it. I placed an online order today and I went and picked up my order. Got home, and not to my surprise 2 tacos were missing! So I called them and they said they couldn’t get me a refund and made me drive to go pick them up. I’ve never heard of a company not being able to give a refund.I will now find another Mexican restaurant that can at least do the bare minimum which this shop is not doing. Not even an apology was given. You lost a good customer.Buyers beware and look elsewhere for good Mexican cuisine and service.

I’ve been here four times and it’s gotten worse after each successive order. Whoever’s managing this location clearly doesn’t have their heart in it whatsoever.

I called and order for myself and my coworkers, the order was not taken down correctly. I was missing food and one of the tacos we ordered was cold. The orchata was not good at all. I waited and wasted my break time just to not eat and be hungry. The restaurant worker needs to do better when taking phone orders. This is not okay and the wait time was more than what I was told. NEVER AGAIN!

The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The food was prepared in a timely manner and delivered to the table. It was delicious and very well prepared. The dark hot sauce was an added flavorful and spicy treat. I can wait to go back.

Ordered 2 Cali Boxes. The steak tacos arrived lukewarm and did not have much flavor. The nachos were cold. The portion sizes got smaller than several years ago.

I ordered bbq wings from this restaurant/ I should’ve opened the container to check the food before I left - unfortunately, when I got home , and opened the container, the chicken was undone and the person had drizzle few drops of bbq sauce over the chicken- I called the restaurant and asked for the manager but conveniently the manager was not there - I explained to the young man what happened ,and his response was , yeah,Ok”. What drove me to write this review was partially the food but mostly the service/ poor customer service can hurt the business- people might remember how bad the food was but they might attempt to give the business another try but bad service it is hard to forget - your lost neighborhood customer, and along with other family members and friends - train your staff on customer service. It’s is as important as the food you are serving -

Food is fantastic! Portions are huge! Mostly order take out, but last visit I ate inside the restaurant. Small venue, but full of character, and the staff is very friendly and efficient. Food is seriously awesome! Everything I've ever ordered here has been super tasty.
