“We hired the Sarcastic Sweets food truck for a large client event we were throwing, and it ended up being the cherry on top of a perfect evening! Not only were the desserts a huge hit (the lemon cupcake served "everything" style was my personal fav), but Nina was a delight work with! if you've ever tried hiring food trucks for an event, you are well aware how complicated it can be (if you're lucky to even get a response). Nina was prompt with replies, professional, and gave us great options for the event itself. She may need to consider a name change, because instead of sarcasm we had some of the best customer service I've ever experienced! “It’s every thing I ever dreamed it could be and more- the coffee is serve yourself but the options are many :) the cupcakes come in a variety of flavors- this is not the place to go when you are dieting - although they do have diet soft drinks available and a selection of savory foods “

“Wonderful little bakery! I ordered a coffee milk cake for my fiancés 23rd birthday and it came out beautifully. The ordering process was straight forward and I love that I was able to place my order via email. The staff here was wonderful to work with. His cake was clearly baked and decorated with care; the owner and their staff definitely take pride in their work.My fiancé is a coffee milk fanatic and he loves the flavor of the cake. I’m not a RI native like he is so I’m not a huge fan of coffee milk, but the cake is still very enjoyable. I would eat it again and choose to do so. We also grabbed a little chocolate cream pie that was in the display case and it was delicious. I don’t like super sweet desserts so I could only have a couple bites of the pie but the flavor and texture was phenomenal.The cake is not overly sweet, but the frosting is sweet in my opinion (but it is cake so it SHOULD be sweet!). My fiancé doesn’t think it’s that sweet, but I’ve always preferred the actual cake part over the frosting while he can eat just the frosting on its own. The environment of the bakery was positive, and it was clean and nicely decorated. A huge plus for me is that this bakery is latex free, so I do not need to worry about having an allergic reaction while enjoying a treat! I will absolutely come back and order more cakes for events and birthdays.“
“It's not Great but I liked it quite a bit, I'm going to start going here more and their cookies were honestly amazing! Quiche was definitely a little subpar, but that's sort of to be expected at a hole in the wall bakery- her specialty is sweets not savory stuff. It's hard to remain profitable in this climate and I admire how she still had fresh croissants, cookies and cupcakes which not everyone has. She was nice but maybe seemed a bit frightened that anyone was in the store at all ha. I can't speak for being an employee but she's a lot more considerate and mindful than some of the chefs & bakers I've interacted with as a professional in food. Thank you, we will be coming again. Also, this place is not that expensive y'all are just spoiled by Starbucks and dunks with their economies of scale wrapped in plastic- this is a real store owned by a real person and all of those dollars are going to human beings not robots & investment firms. I liked it!Kid-friendliness: This store has a cloth checkers board & homey vibes with lots of visual stimulation for kids to stare off into space or play a giant table sized game of checkers.Wheelchair accessibility: It has a ramp but if I was in a wheelchair I certainly wouldn't want to attempt it by myself but what do I know.“
“All I can vouch for (so far) is Marti's custom cake! Our family ordered a strawberry cake for a birthday, and it was amazing. 4 layers of the most tender, delicious cake with strawberry "filling" between the layers. 8 HUGE chocolate dipped strawberries decorated the top...juiciest strawberries I've ever had, to be honest!Can't wait to taste more decadent offerings from Marti's!“
