Great stop when visiting Slater Park. Clam cakes and chowder next door, car shows and live music throughout warmer months, pet friendly

That soft serve "ice cream" is down right nasty they are clearly putting water in the ice cream machine instead of cream just gross!!! I wouldn't even eat it for free ?
It pains me to leave not so great reviews, and I always try to look at the best sides of businesses before passing judgment. So since it was a beautiful Sunday afternoon, the area wasn't that full of people that it was unnerving, and the seating was clean and atmosphere really enjoyable. The ladies and gentlemen working looked busy and all had pleasant demeanors. Unfortunately, that is where my positive experience stops. Me and the misses ordered a crab cake and chowder combo and a whole belly clam platter. The clam cakes were actually pretty good! The clam platter (which "market price" clocked in around $27) was more "basic highschool cafeteria" fries than it was clams. The clams did have some shining moments, but didnt pack the taste you would get from somewhere closer to shore. The fries had negative salt, actually, i think it lowered MY sodium level every time I ate one. But I do not know if it was an off day, or if this is consistent... but the chowder was extremely disappointing! It was THICK! And I mean like mashed potatoes thick. And it had some sort of sweet aftertaste that didnt remind me of chowder! Someone didn't do their roux justice. The longevity and location of this place should make it a pride point. Everything is amazing, just maybe it was an off day in the food department. I haven't tried the ice cream nor basic fare, but the seafood is a hard pass...

Love this place. Been going to Len’s since I was a little kid. Was always excited to get frozen lemonade. Delicious food. Not a bad item on the menu. If you’re looking for a nice meal on a summer day, look no further.

Not a place to go for homemade ice cream but it is a great place to take your kids. The ice cream pops my son goes crazy with excitement over like Spider-Man and other characters. It's also nice cause there is seating and a lawn to sit with your family.
