The place is the best, but the old women behind, oh my god! God has to bless her, she is so rude.

Women behind the counter was extremely rude. I called to order Portuguese bread and she hung up on my face. I called back thinking it was a mistake and she again rudely told me I could not order and hung up. Would NOT recommend this establishment.

When we are in RI we always stop to buy the sweet breads and rolls to take back to NJ! The best rolls and breads we ever had! Highly recommend this bakery!!

Recently went there...and won't return. The older woman was a WITCH! She should not be working with the public. The zeppole(Italian pastry) was awful. Let the Italians continue the tradition.

Lady behind the counter was rude and unfriendlyCookies were hard, probably had been sitting out for a few daysPlace looks sad and uninviting, $10 min on the card so I didn't buy anything and won't return

A hidden treasure for sure. This place has been around for so long and you can see how much people love this place based on the Sunday morning line. They have so many pastries to choose from and they're mostly all $1 each. I got the strawberry filled danish, the almonds cinnamon pretzel and the almond topped custard. My favorite by far was the almond cinnamon pretzel--it had like a honey glaze, the almonds were nicely toasted, and the touch was infused with cinnamon swirls. Also their Portuguese rolls are delicious and perfect for breakfast. The staff is super quick to serve and friendly. I also love this long braided bread they sometimes have with cinnamon and sugar on top. If you're looking for a cheap bakery with fresh finds and delicious options, come here! It's in a plaza so parking is always available and their hours are good, I believe 7am to 6pm on weekdays and a little earlier open and close on weekends.

Use to go here every Saturday and Sunday morning now I don’t because the short older lady has a bad attitude every time I go there so I’m not going there anymore and I’m going to tell my family and friends not to go there cuz you should be polite and friendly

This bakery has been around as long as I can remember, so that says something. Their Portuguese bread is amazing, and the prices are reasonable. The shop doesn't look like it's been updated since the 80s, but who cares? Definitely not a place to sit and have a coffee, but great for grabbing a delicious dessert or dozen papo secos!

What happened?Your Portuguese bread rolls changed shape and density.Did the cutting machine break, or was a batch overproofed?Disappointed.
The pastries were very good here, especially the pastéis de nata. Prices are more than generous.
I specifically go to Bob's market in North Attleboro to get this bread that is available there. SO GOOD!!!!
Fresh bread and delicious pastries
