What happened? I just drove there from Fallriver mass only to find its closed!! Nothing is inside of the store its empty! What happened?? No notice nothing. No sign that they moved eaither. MOONSTAR is the best I've had in Pawtucket. My husband has been going to them since he wss a kid. Like I'm sad lol but we need answers.

I have not visited Moonstar for quite sometime so decided to give them a try. The spring rolls and egg rolls were dripping with oil and very soggy. What's going on? This use to be one of my favorite restaurants. ?

I ordered General chicken with shrimp fried rice. It was disgusting and horrible. That’s all I can say to describe it. Do not order from here. Do not do not the food is very poorly done. It’s not worth ordering. The chicken was disgusting. Soggy it was not a general chicken, and the rice was dark black with two pieces of shrimp like what is that? It was horrible.

The people seem to be friendly, but the food was very horrible. It looks like chicken wings with Spanish Sazon seasoning on it. I asked if they use MSG on their food I was told no I’m not sure, but I’m going to have this checked. The beef teriyaki sticks are unnaturally red and have this weird unfresh flavor. I can only take one bite and spit it out. The chicken taste exactly like old refrigerator flavor if that makes any sense. It was definitely a very bad experience. I’m going to have this place checked out. The food is definitely in the trash.

Chicken and Broccoli is the best - fav Chinese spot

Fav Chinese food place. Chicken and broccoli are the best and the owners are great. They have been around all my life - my go to Chinese.

Food was terrible and delivery took over 2 hours. Never again.

So disappointed. Thought I’d change it up from our normal place. Bad idea. Spring rolls were soggy, crab rangoonfilling was bland and had an unappetizing texture, and the Singapore noodles were so dry that they were gritty with spice because they were so over seasoned.

Moon star had been a favorite for 20 years until recently ( since 2020). I just left my order of veg chow mien, veg lo mien and an extra rice because we love rice. The Chow Mein was to come with rice and crispy noodles. The chow mien and lo mien were okay, however, I did not get my crispy noodles or the rice tat comes with the order. what I got was about 1/2 of rice on the side, although I was charged for the extra rice. They also have been ridiculous about the condiments. One packet of soy and one of duck sauce. Tonight was my last time going there, and I will encourage others to try another place.

This is my go-to chinese delivery spot. Only ever had 1 or 2 issues in the few years I've been ordering from them. Food isn't obviously Michelin star quality but it's definitely tasty (albeit a little greasy but that's to be expected) and some of the portions are pretty big. Delivery drivers are always very kind, too.(Seriously, try the fried dumplings, you won't regret it at all!)

I've order twice from Moon Star the first I had the General Two's chicken & it was so good! The delivery was fast & my food arrived hot! The 2nd time I ordered beef w/broccoli again delivery was the same however the broccoli was hard & not edible! I will be ordering again from Moon Star but I won't be ordering this again!!

This is my go to chinese spot simply because it's up the street. My go to are the egg rolls, lemon chicken, and fried or boiled dumplings! The filling in the egg rolls has a slight crunch which I like compared to mushy! The lemon chicken is a fried chicken filet cut up in a sweet lemony sauce. And the dumplings with the soy ginger sauce is great. Not small at all.

Very mediocre food. I only came here because my aunt was very insistent and we were close by. We ordered a large takeout item. The service over the phone was fine but when we opened our packet we did not have any fortune cookies or any kind of silverware. That's kind of a problem when you're a Chinese takeout operation anyway on to the food. We tried several items and everything was without flavor and in fact quite bland. The only thing that was distinct in flavor was the shrimp fried rice which was just okay. I think for a Chinese takeout service I have higher hopes and expectations but this one did not rise to the occasion. I would not come back here.

This place has gone downhill. Ordered General Tso chicken. Usually a winner but the sauce was thin and there was no broccoli. Another time I ordered lo mein and it was swimming in soy sauce. It was inedible. It's time to find a new Chinese restaurant.
