Had a family lunch here. As typical with most Pakistani restaurants the service is very basic. We didn’t have a problem with it since we’re used to but just know you will have to have someone in the party get up to get their attention and order things. They were perfectly friendly and explained everything on the menu. Do note that the menu has changed and they no longer have naan included with dishes, but they were still giving out the old menus which has that written. They have tea at the front for all guests to self serve. Not sure if this is expected but we cleaned up the table ourselves. The decor is funny, random vinyl stickers, Islamic tapestries, a blingy light with a drop ceiling. They do have a place where you can sit down on the floor but it’s small and very awkwardly placed. The booths are large to fit the whole family but if you have a lot of kids that need to get up routinely to use restroom or anything it’s annoying cause everyone has to get up.As for the food…the goat karahi was my favorite. The naan we ordered was huge and delicious. We also ordered afghan pulao, chicken tikka, and chapli kebab. Personally I think those items were fine. The chapli kebab was dry, and the chicken tikka was a bit bland. I wouldn’t order them again. But the karahi and naan were really good. I would come back for those or serve them to guests at a party. We also got lassi which were fine. The Mango lasso tastes like regularly lassi with the boxed mango juice added in ?.There are few halal options so there aren’t many alternatives (except that one aunty’s house) but it’s worth trying and determining what you like.

This was authentic Afghan food. The chapli kabobs were spicey and delicious. The saabs with chicken reminded us of Kabul. We were seated right next to the music speaker but the waitress turned it down as soon as we asked. Portions were generous. Only our appetizer was served with the main course. We will be returning for further occasions for sure.

We have take out from here on a few occasions. We think the food is terrific. We have little if any true cultural experience with the food so can't say if it is good Afghan Pakistanian food. But we do love the food for what it is.

Delicious and fresh Pakistani & Afghani food! The naans were excellent and soft. The chicken karahi, butter chicken, and kabobs (both beef and chicken were all excellent). The kabuli was also very enjoyable. Decent amount of seating, including a carpeted floor seating spot! Friendly service. For more information on halal food in New England, follow us on instagram @newenglandhalaleats

Very small place. Nice staff. Food was very tasty to me. Maybe I haven’t had too many Pak Aghan food but to my taste buds they were good. The plates were served very bare bones. My beef mixed grill was served only on the rice and nothing else. No sides, no garnish. Portions were also definitely on the smaller side. I ordered and confirmed my lamb curry only to find that it was entered as chicken so we had chicken curry. It was very flavorful but also very small for the price too. The naan was very soft, fluffy, and also very good. My kids were very amused at the $3.50 2 liter soda that I bought vs the 2.00 can. We got there just as another family finished so we were able to sit down at the floor dining area. It was a nice addition to add to the experience.
