“We decided to try out this new spot, (new to us). Got the short ribs (tender) dinner and added the cabbage (my fave!). Hubby got the fried chicken dinner and said immediately “They fried this in HOT oil!” He loved the mustard forward potato salad. The cornbread tasted like cake. The greens were made by somebody’s granny. They knew what they were doing. We will definitely come back to meet the young lady who took our order. She was a gem. So friendly that she recommended the Soul Roll and we had to buy it based on her personality alone. Got to meet her. We will definitely give this spot another try.“
“MY NEW FAV SPOT!!!!!!! Hands down! The customer service was top tier. I ate every single drop of food in my plate. Tore it UP! The shrimp was so delicious, perfect blend of garlic & spice. “I had the jerk chicken with rice and beans and candid yams. My boyfriend had stewed chicken with candid yams and tosados. Very good food. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. The cook also came out and greeted us. Comfortable atmosphere. I will be visiting again!“

“Went before a concert with another couple. Wine list was good, had a nice Chianti Reserva. Had shrimp scampi special, 4 shrimp total, good flavor with garlic, lemon and fresh tomatoes. Hubbies chicken piccata was better. Overall, a little pricey for what it was. Options at Ballys Twin River overall not great. I probably will go back here or Fred and Steve's Steakhouse.“
“I don't live Dominican food but the empanadas are life. They're fresh, hot and $1.50 each. The flan is also life changing. The neighborhood is a bit rough and the street parking will make you risk your life exiting your car or crossing the street.“
“This place was amazing, I will be returning soon. This place has amazing portions and I enjoyed the food very much. The Mac and cheese is the heart of this establishment and the chicken was out of this world. As you can see from the photo of me I attached I am a pretty big fellow the portions helped me a lot.“
