Came in during college visits with my son and we were so happy to have such an incredible meal start to finish!!! Great atmosphere with river views. Might be in my top 3 all-time meal experiences! We started with calamari, the bread and olive oil were perfect, my son had the Bolognese with just a perfect hint of fennel, and my ricotta cavatelli was superb, not too creamy and pasta was perfection… we finished our meal with the apple tart with crispy crust, and just the perfect amount of sweetness with the crèm anglaise! 1 million thanks for a perfect evening!!

Go to Al Forno. You will not be disappointed. Period.Dined in to celebrate my fifth wedding anniversary. Al Forno is fancy but unpretentious.Bar: excellent cocktails, they can make anything.Service: attentive, without being intrusive. I never felt rushed either.Food: fabulous. We started with a pizza. We ate a whole pizza between two of us, because it's very thin, cracker like crust. Then, the fedellini with rib-eye meatballs changed my life. And I thought it would be the ribeye that blew my mind. No. It was the noodles. I didn't know that noodles could have so much flavor. I'm not talking the sauce, though it was good. But. I'm saying the pasta itself had so much flavor. I crave it even now...Wine: so good. Our waiter recommended a pairing.Dessert: amazing.I lived it. I'm looking forward to going again.Parking: There is a lot for Al Forno, and I think they start valet service in the evening. The entrance to both the lot and the house face the river.

If you would like to smell like yiu went to fried food establishment go. I tossed my clothes they smelled so bad its a shame the resturant is like that food was ok would never go again unless they pay my dry cleaning bill

One of the best restaurants you’ll ever go to. The pizza is the best in the world (no exaggeration). Everything else on their menu is delicious and unique. From their salad to pasta, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. The atmosphere is always lively and service is great. Can’t recommend enough.

If I could leave less than one star I would! I called 2 weeks in advance to have a party of 12 reservation and was told largest party was 8. Online clearly states reservations of 1-10. When I informed them of this and the time available online, they proceeded to put me on hold and asl their supervisor who said no. That it would be 5 tables and the turnover time is too much. I am a paying customer! Outrageous!

Food was the best I’ve ever had. Service was not good. Made a reservation months in advance for 6. They sat us at a 4 person table with chairs on the end. No room on the table at all. Waiter was not around, didn’t come back to take our order until appetizers were already served and we were waiting forever. He took two other tables orders before he took ours and only came over when I had to shout to get his attention. Didn’t get bread till after appetizers and he left our table crowded with extra plates and unused wine glasses the entire time. my drink was empty For more time then it was full. It took us two and a half hours to eat because we were ignored.
LOVE LOVE LOVE this restaurant. We came for dinner before a show at PPAC and everything was exceptional. From the friendly host to the knowledgeable waiter and of course the amazing food. Every dish was delicious, all the ingredients are so fresh. There are so many wonderful things on the menu it was difficult to choose. We will be back!
