Have always wanted to visit a Ben & Jerry's as I love their carton flavors and was really excited to get a chance to visit. Was happy to see some new and exciting flavors I had never tasted before. First impressions is that the set up inside is a bit backwards. Most ice cream shops have the line start where the menu board is, pick your cone, flavor, then toppings but the way this particular location is set up, the line started where the toppings where. As someone who has never been here I felt kind of rushed to order but I couldn't read the flavors from the beginning of the line and it made ordering difficult for those behind me in line. I decided on a few new flavors and asked for samples so I could make my decision but the girl looked confused when I asked for a sample and just kept asking if that's the flavor I want. So I just gave up and ordered one blindly knowing if I would like it. Luckily it was delicious but with a name like marshmallow cloud, I wasn't quite sure. Ordered a milkshake as well which took quite a while but understandable since it was late and they had been making a few orders ahead of us. Overall the server didn't seem to have much knowledge about her job, she kept asking the second employee questions and he was on his phone ignoring her. I felt bad for her. Training should be a high priority for a high tourist traffic area. Overall the icecream was really good but for the price of what it was, I could have easily gotten and entire pint of ice cream at the store. Nothing special.

I e cream is great as always. Line always moves fast. Service is great. Place is very clean for an ice cream shop.

I had an amazing experience at Ben and Jerry’s that I just have to share. From the moment I walked in, the staff greeted me with such warmth and enthusiasm that it set the tone for a fantastic visit. Their friendly smiles were infectious and added an extra layer of enjoyment to the whole experience. Now, let’s talk about the Dirt Cake Sundae I ordered. It was an absolute masterpiece! From the first scoop to the last, every element was just perfect. The layers of rich chocolatey goodness, the smooth ice cream, and the delectable toppings all came together in a symphony of flavors that I savored with every bite. It’s safe to say that my chocolate craving was not only satisfied but exceeded beyond my expectations.I genuinely appreciate the attention to detail that the staff put into creating such a delightful treat. It’s evident that they take pride in their work and truly care about providing customers with a memorable experience. This visit to Ben and Jerry’s was nothing short of exceptional, and I’m already looking forward to my next indulgence. Thank you for making my evening so special!

This little shop quickly gets crowded (everyone loves some Ben & Jerry’s!), but the service is efficient and the wait was not too bad. Though the staff members were impersonal, the ice cream was delicious and perfect for a day in Providence.

Lazy employees, just came in at 11:15 and told me it's closed. They should update hours or hire better workers

Went there at 10.50pm. Was supposed to close at 11pm. Got in, asked if I could have a shake and the response was:"No".That's it. Not "sorry", not "We are actually closed but forgot to close the door"... Just "No". My fault to think that an ice cream place would sell ice-cream. Next time I'll try at Home Depo.

Stopped into Ben & Jerry’s while on our trip to Brown University. It was a first for us. There was quite a crowd of young folks there at the time so it was a 20 minute wait to place an order. But everyone had smiles on and it was worth it. A great way to cap off our trip to Providence. Parking is tough here but you can get lucky to grab metered parking on this busy street.

Literally just pulled up at 1105p and the clerk says they’re closed.. a couple just left out and online the hours say they’re open til 12a. Forgive me I’m confused.

Let me start by saying the ice cream was good so I'll give them that. The reason for the low star review is due to a couple thing. First off, this is my third time at this location and each time is more and more hostile. Never once have I been greeted entering this establishment. As I wait in line, mind you it's 850 at night, I am asked what I would like. When I ask the employee what kind of shakes they have I was met with a teeth suck and the following "the shake machine is closed." No big deal apparently you can't have a shake two hours before close but moving on.As I quickly scan the menu I ask for a cookies cookie sundae where I am then meet with a hostile eye roll and asked "what ice cream you want." Fineee I understand scooping frozen milk into a cup at 9pm on Wednesday night isn't the most exciting moment of one day, but what's the need to be rude about it? Again I move on. After selecting my frozen treat I am then informed that there's no hot fudge which is understandable seeing this establishment is located within walking distance to numerous college dorms. I politely ask for caramel to which I am once again met with a tad bit of attitude. Which fine, seeing how my past two visits at this east side establishment went, I wasn't expecting nothing more than bare minimum service at best.To continue my 7 minute endeavor within this place, the employee then proceeded to place the cookie right on top of my ice cream as a whole! Where in the picture it looks as if the cookie is broken up and mixed in to the ice cream, this employee just sent it! See pic below. And let's be honest, that complaint may be a little nitpicky and something I could of managed on my own, but here's the kicker. I am then informed they HAVE NO SPOONS!! Now call me crazy but an ice cream shop with no spoons is like a pumpkin patch with no pumpkins‍ so there I am, no shake, full cookie planted on top of ice cream with no way to break the cookie into pieces or for a more pressing issue, indulge in my frozen treat without kicking the cup like a puppy licking peanut butter off a spoon. With 2 hours til close its astonishing they had "no spoons" With that being said, yes the ice creams good, but ones shouldn't need to deal with the attitude that mirrors a 8 year old in a toy store being told no. God willingly I can find a Ben and Jerry's where I can enjoy an unhealthy and possibly sickening amount of ice cream without attitude. Hope this helps

Stopped in last night with my fiance. Ice cream was okay. But your workers make or break the experienc. Horrible customer service. Woman behind the counter has a horrible attitude. No greeting. Super snappy. Just a "what do you want" and " are you done" very hostile vibe. I'm guessing because we interrupted her smoke break? But really shouldn't have customers inside unattended while the one worker is outside smoking. Definitely not the usual Ben and Jerry's experience.
