I have eaten Dinner at Centro on a number of occasions. Their fixed price Christmas Dinner menu has a number of good options and is reasonably priced. The atmosphere there is very nice.

Ate here for Valentine's--good choice. Menu had great options, food was very good, service was unbelievably fast. Our server was knowledgeable and attentive. I had chicken piccata, which was delicious. Dessert was good, not WOW, but good. Would definitely dine here again. We were going to sit at the bar and have a drink after dinner but the bar was packed...another time.

Ugh. I really liked the food here and I hate to complain but the service was horrible. I dont think I've ever tipped less thank 15%, usually 20-25. But I'm seriously considering 0 right now. Like I said the food was fantastic. But we asked for bread like everyone else but never got bread. And apparently the policy is no water refills either. But the real kicker was that I ordered a second glass of wine. My wife ordered her second about 10 minutes later. When hers arrived I asked about mine and the waiter had some bs excuse about when the ticket gets put in. Just apologize and admit you forgot. Dont lie to me. Various other issues... I'm upset because the food was great but I feel like a second class citizen right now and that's upsetting. Btw. He offered to bring me the wine for free but I'm upset now and not interested because I've finished my dinner

The food was good but the waitress had an attitude problem. She made every transaction difficult. I paid for a 100$ Groupon voucher to see if I'd like the restaurant and she was just terrible. This is not the first time I've walked in to this place and had a difficult time talking with a staff member. They just have terrible service. Wish they could improve on their quality of serving people with a smile and pleasantry. It's not all about just the quality of food.

We enjoyed dinner at this attractive venue within the Omni Providence hotel. The ambiance is charming and the service friendly and attentive. My Pasta Primavera entrée was tasty and satisfying. Centro’s menu leans heavily on Italian dishes, but maintains its coastal New England roots. We enjoyed our time there thoroughly. ?

Nice restaurant vib on this New Years Eve dinner at Centro Restaurant. For us, highlights were the delicious crusty Italian bread, the eggplant ricotta appetizer, the meatball appetizer, the brownie bread pudding and lemon cheesecake. What does that leave? The main dishes. While they were very tasty, each was not perfect. The chicken parm was too thick and not as soft and tender as expected. The grilled shrimp were nicely seasoned but a bit dry as if over cooked by a couple of minutes. These minor drawbacks weren’t significant enough to send back, so we didn’t. Our server Arthur was excellent, very sweet, efficient and professional.

This is the first time I've went to a "fancy upperish class restaurant." I had received a Groupon and I had $50 to spend with it. I ordered the clam chowder, clam cakes, and a lobster roll.

Amazing experience at Centro for dinner! My wife and I had dinner there after the Rhode Island Comic Con. The service was top notch, the food was Amazing! I ordered shrimp cocktail and seared scallops that were delicious! The mixed drinks were great too! My wife and I ordered the Donatella drink which was very refreshing. Highly recommended! High quality food and service!
