On top of just being a gorgeous space worth spending time in, the food AND beverages are superb, and the staff so kind. Most importantly, the fish is fresh and delicious. Couldn’t want more from any poke spot.References: haven’t been to Hawaii, but can safely say this is better than at least majority of the poke you can get in NYC.

I ordered a $20 bowl from the food truck at PAX East, so, I'm reviewing based on that. The bowl came out quickly, but the meat ended up being cold. The flavors were okay. But all the textures were off, including the$2.00 avocado, which was a small lump of something that barely resembled avocado.

I saw this spot on Instagram and had to visit since there aren’t many healthy options in the area. It was even better than I expected! I had the recommended Hometown Classic bowl and tried their new boba. Both were amazing! Such a chill vibe too so I ended up working on my laptop here for hours, then had their nitro cold brew, and may or may not have tried their rosé.

Honestly, I fell in love with poke in Hawaii. I have been to this place twice already, but for some reason, the texture of the fish and the portion size are a bit disappointing. The place is very clean, the food tastes good, and the team is very friendly.

Always delicious. My favorite is the Hometown Classic poke bowl. Love that I can choose rice and mixed greens to make it a little healthier if I feel like it. Service is always pleasant and fast.

Moved here a few months ago but hadn't tried this place out yet. Went today and will be back. I give the food 5/5 even though the white chicken doesn't look very appetizing and had no flavor but the rest of my bowl was delicious and even the sauce I chose was delicious. I got a match latte and it kinda just tasted like milk and sugar with a hint of matcha. It's pretty light too (see pic)as opposed to the darker ones I've seen. But I did tell him I didn't like the matcha latte I had tried from starbucks so maybe he just tried to make it less strong lol. Anyways I'll be back because it was really healthy and delicious. It was 22$ for a bowl and drink though I think that's a bit pricey but not extraordinarily so.

Tried this out for my first time a couple weeks ago while visiting my friends over by Boston U. I'm not typically a huge poke fan in general, but this place and its overall decor/ambience, item varieties and warm customer service made it a solid spot to revisit again.QUALITY: I ordered a build-your-own with tuna & salmon topped w/ their savory & spicy sauces that were an absolute delight. Fish-to-rice ratio was fair, and the poke'd fish itself was of fresh quality.PRICE: Anything under 20 bucks for a solid lunch w/ a beverage is affordable nowadays..and that's just about what I paid after adding on a refreshing ice tea to go with it.SERVICE: The staff members were courteous & friendly. You could tell they generally work in harmony and were happy to answer any questions for new customers unfamiliar with this type of food.OVERALL: Their menu is a bit different compared to other poke spots I've been to, which I think adds depth to this whole establishment overall. For instance, I've never seen options for toast items like salmon avocado or bruschetta, or even a poke restaurant serving a nice selection of canned beer & wine! Very cute & clean little bright restaurant cafe in a quiet street area, with tasteful food & drink varieties. Keep up the great work, Hometown! -J
