Amazing time!! Sat outside was beautiful!!! Food was amazing as always and service was great and we got out food extremely quick !! Amazing date night !!
We had dinner here the other night and had an absolutely AMAZING meal! The ambiance, the food, the craft cocktails and the extremely warm service make this restaurant TRULY special! If you don’t eat here atleast a few times a month, you are cheating yourself! Truly a Providence gem! Thank you for always knocking everything out of the park!
The food was delicious and our waiter was excellent.
The food was delicious and so were the mango colada’s. The service was good. I am hooked!
It was our first time trying Indian food and we loved it. They accommodated so well the food allergies from my girls. We highly recommend. Can’t wait to go back
Ambience is wonderful, you feel like you want to get in! Service staff are friendly and welcoming. The food, appetizers were good - papri chat and chicken kababob. The entrée dishes were disappointing- both chicken vindaloo and mango seafood curry lacked flavor, freshness and taste. I expected so much more after looking at the high ratings.
So many different spices and flavors compared to what I used to. Everything was yummy. Service was great. Nice being able to eat outside.
Longtime customer, 1st time reviewer. Food was very good, always is, I have been going to India for over a decade with enjoyable experiences. However our overall experience last visit, was poor for my daughters Bday Celebration. We had a reservation and seated promptly. The atmosphere over all was good, although waitress was not engaging, also not on top the service needed for a bday party of 6 with alcohol service. Several requests went unanswered. We were seated next to as serving station, as outdoor dining was closed due to expected rain, so I grabbed a few plates that were previously requested myself. I sensed maybe employee stuff going on behind the scenes. It felt a bit tense, not all the bubbly personalities and service we have experienced in the past. I think the most disappointing thing for me was not one person at India Restaurant wished my daughter a happy birthday, nor offered to take a photo of the table. I would recommend India, but miss the old experience and fear the rush to fill positions, that special touch is being lost.
Try the Bengali Seafood stew. I have mine with Kale salad instead of bread/rice. DELECTABLE!!!!!
Excellent food, varied menu for everyone - vegetarians, vegans and meat eaters. Nicely decorated, beautiful outside patio. Will definitely return.
This is our favorite stop when picking up family from the train station or airport. The food is always good and the service excellent and this was no exception. Our server was amazing! I wish I knew her name but my receipt lists her as 507 Dinner.
