This is (or was, but I'm hoping for 'is' again someday) hands-down the best breakfast in PVD. With only 5 tables, the pre-Covid wait could run to 2 hours but it was actually worth it. Always. The 'French style' omelet, no matter what fillings you chose, was always creamy and light as air. The sausage-housemade patties- was perfectly savory/salty/sweet. Yep, worth a 2 hour wait. These days, you don't have to wait as long. Just call in your takeout order and pick it up in abt -20-30 minutes. And it's still really solid breakfast fare. But, no French style omelet. No omelet at all, just a frittata. And none of the magical sausage, just bacon. Still good. Still worth a try. But: come back to me, French omelet and sausage patties? Please?

Great food and a very cool place. Very small. Usually there is wait but we'll worth it

This is definitely the best breakfast food in Providence. The western is excellent. Croissant French toast and sweet bread French toast are both so delicious. Highly recommend this place.

Best breakfast in Providence. Usually an hour wait, but it's always worth the time. Hopefully dine-in comes back soon!

45 min wait for pick-up, might have been an hour actually. Delectable veggie fritada and a grilled blueberry muffin, well worth the wait :)

This is probably the one restaurant that will make me miss living in Federal Hill when I eventually leave. We usually place our order right at 8AM, head out with the dog and pick up the order on the way home for an easy delicious weekend breakfast. Definitely the best french toast in Providence! Our typical order: 2 Big Shots (one with croissant french toast and the other with Portuguese sweet bread french toast) and thick bacon. Make sure you call as close to 8 as possible on Saturday/Sunday because they get busy! The breakfast quesadilla is good too!

KITCHEN IS OPEN! Quality remains spectacular all of these years later. Still my #1 in every way. Call in during the weekend during their limited hours, provide your name, phone #, card #, and place an order for pickup. My recommendations remain the same. Get the grilled muffin of the day. Get the big shot with the thick cut bacon + croissant french toast. There's truly nothing better. Much love to this incredible establishment!

What a gem! We ordered a couple of Big Shot breakfasts for takeout and were not prepared for how magnificent the meal would be. Classy food at diner prices. I look forward to next time!

Hands down best breakfast place in Rhode Island, and definitely my favorite in the USA. Great pancakes and the thickest juiciest crispy bacon I've ever had.Open 8-12 Saturday and Sunday as of Oct 16 2021

We ate there once and it was nice. That being said , we have tried MANY times to go back to which it’s not open with NO signs. This last time we arrived finding a sign that said “soon” so we lined up at 7:30 ( it opened at 8) only to have the woman change the sign at 8 from soon to (“ online orders only) really I would NOT have waited 30 min to order online! Needless to say I’m DONE with this place….

Welcome back to the folks who run this fantastic bijoux cafe in Providence's Luongo Square. I ordered the (8 inch pie sized!) herby vegetable frittata with red potato home fries, and the custardy Portuguese sweet bread French toast which is served with real maple syrup. I feel privileged to have this gem in my neighborhood. They currently take phone orders for take out. Check them out!

A very small but cozy restaurant which is serving perfect breakfast/brunch.

This is my FAVORITE breakfast spot. It is most likely that you’ll have to wait 30mins to get in the door and a little longer to get your food, but the wait is beyond worth it. I cannot say enough good things about the chef here, and everything on the menu is delicious. If you’re looking for a fast, cheap breakfast, don’t come here. If you’re in the mood for an easygoing weekend morning, delightful breakfast fare, and the best bacon, this is the place to be.

I my wife and I are in town on vacation and went this morning for breakfast, unfortunately when I called the phone number to determine if they were open, I was told by woman (owner) that Howard is in the hospital and they would not be opening. I don’t know Howard but from all the wonderful reviews, it’s easy to see he is a wonderful man and needs our prayers.

This is the humblest and most delicious breakfast I can ever find in Providence Rhode Island! The restaurant owner made several phone calls to me to make sure he took my order correctly; he also texted me to confirm and even apologize for the wait. The food is super delicious as always!! I even received two lovely buns as free gifts!! Really hope it will reopen soon for dine in. Love love love this one!!
