Love this place since all drinks are made with Lactaid (lactose-free) milk. I got the almond milk tea with bubbles @ 30% sugar. Service was nice and quick, and the boba was cooked perfectly. Nice relatively atmosphere for studying as wellDietary restrictions: Good for lactose-free

A popular bubble tea place. Lots of college students came here with their friends to treat themselves with sweet boba teas.

They aren't too friendly here but we go for tea. Tea is good- reduce the sugar to your liking. There is a strong smell that hits you when you enter. Something like... cleaning product maybe? Unsure.

Best bubble tea spot located on Thayer towards the end where Starbucks is. On street parking be aware if you have a hard time with a parallel park. They use lactaid milk too for my fellow lactose intolerant peeps. Service is always quick and efficient. Sometimes you gotta wait for your drink to be made but they always ring you out quick. I like that they have a good menu with other options such as the milky slush bubble teas, liquid milk teas, slushy non milk and slushy style bubble teas. Always a younger freshman college kid crowd here. Vibey with the dark ambiance. Within walking distance to all the food on Thayer street. One of the better bubble tea spots on Thayer tbh.

Drinks are consistently good (been going for years), boba soft, sweet and chewy, variety of good flavors (not artificial or powdery), and receiving drinks after you order are quick.I like how there's a tablet in front of the cashier so you can double-check your order. Some drinks include different toppings, I like how they always inform you when you order so you're not surprised or disappointed. If you ask for more sugar or less ice, they actually listen and you can see/taste the difference. The lighting is a bit awkward for me, bright in some spots and pretty dark in others. I know a lot of people take their drinks to go, but I wish there was more seating. Depending on when you go, the wait can be a bit long but definitely worth it ?

Amazing tea!!! I loved it. I only wish the Pikman cup was a bit more durable for collectors.

I get here once in a while. Drinks have always been good. I just don't enjoy the darkness of the place. Dark gray walls and low lighting, but i can't complain and the drinks at all!

Worker seems to hate his job and is super transactional, he’s wearing a glove taking money and making drinks. He forgot my boba and their main concern was the 80 cent difference. Go to Tiger Sugar or ViVis right up the street.

Refreshing tea on a summer day. Excellent selection of teas. Would be even better if they had dairy free milk options ( almond milk, coconut milk, oat milk) but sadly this was not the case. The service was fast and the tea was delicious.

Good place to get some bubble tea. Multiple options and there are seats to seat to wait for your tea, chat or study.

Always a great experience at Kung Fu Tea. The employees are always nice, and the drinks are great, very customizable! I really enjoy grabbing a drink and sitting down to get some work done. The chill vibes make it ideal for people who focus well with a little background noise.Parking: Parking is a little tight since it is just off of Thayer street so I generally walk about 5 mins from my parking spot.

(I went to this place awhile ago for reference so my prices maybe a little outdated) I went here for my birthday on 7/31/22 and the drinks were very good! The lady was super nice and she let us try some boba too (which was very good) the actual place is really cool and has that aesthetic so you can take pics with friends and such. Only con is that there's no parking but if you're on foot there's no problem. I def wanna go here again and if you do download their app or have Tmobile Tuesdays they have some discounts available.

First off- The Cure was playing when we entered. I immediately felt a kinship to this place. Good jams are always appreciated. It's in the 'basemet' thats above ground in a providence city house/building. Very city like. Doesn't feel like a basement. Love the vibe here. Very clean, modern and subwayesque. The girl behind the counter was very nice. Helped guide me through the choices. The two 11 year olds just went with their order! Love their gumption. I was a little disappointed with my end result. I did not discuss bob beads with the girl as I am not a fan of them. My drink was riddled with Boba. she was super accommodating and drained the beads. My drink was much better after the beads were gone. I went with a honey milk tea. It was alright. Not as tasty at matcha but I would say it wasn't because they made a bad drink it was just the choice I went for was not as good as other choices I would say. I would go back again. (The 11 year olds did agree, the boba place we went last week was better)
