Got a strawberry and creme cake for my birthday. The cake tasted off maybe even expired, it was definitely not made fresh even though I placed an order in advance. I will never come back here.

Beautiful and delicious goods. I got a peach cake for a friend’s anniversary and everyone loved it.Spanish speaking preferred, but English is an option.

The lady who works there has to educate herself on how to answer customers' questions. You have to know what sells. What would happen if someone consumed something and was allergic? You are going to pay the consequences. Here are rules that all food stalls have to follow.

I was invited to a dinner party and intended to make something homemade, but ended up working late at Sprout CoWorking in the Rising Sun Mills which is just across the street from Panaderia Maya on Valley Street. Running late, at the last minute I hopped in to see what I could buy to bring with me as a meal contribution. I ended up with 2 apple pastry, 2 pineapple turnovers and 2 puff pastry with a Chantilly cream. All 6 cost $10. There were 5 people for dinner. We cut them so that everyone could taste them all and they were all promptly devoured. I don't know why I even bothered to contemplate cooking. These were less expensive and took far less time. Don't worry if you don't speak Spanish. Just point to what looks good and take your chances! You can't go wrong.
