Worst place to order food from. I had ordered a veggie calzone and they sent me a meat one. When I called them they kept putting me on hold. Everytime I explained them the situation they moved me back to voicemail. Extremely unhappy and no owner should treat their customer in this fashionWould not recommend this placeUpdate: The owner was kind enough to reach out to me and understand the issue. Delicious, fresh, and quickly made. Mike's has been a Thayer st staple for decades. Quality remains untouchable. $12 for a full sized calzone is a deal. Glad they haven't inflated their prices like most spots.
I read other reviews and decided I needed to try the chicken shawarma. It was sincerely amazing. Potentially the best sandwich I’ve ever had.

The best Shawarma I've ever had! The combination of chicken, sauces, and toppings are just fantastic. I recommend getting it with fries added on inside. And I love that they grill the wrap after it's assembled! Will come back every time I am in town.
