I love their Greek grilled chicken salad! ? food is always good and fresh.
No pizza but good calzones and sandwiches.A little slow during busy hours but worth the wait.
The chicken shawarma wrap (with fries) is like no other, calzones are good and the staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. My go-to comfort food in Providence.
Wait, this place has so many good reviews. Did I suffer a casualty?! My calzone has no absolutely no flavor and the crust is a weird rubbery item. My French fries were clearly frozen and not fried enough for me to not realize that. Am I missing something with these good reviews??? I was excited about my order but so disappointed when it got here.
First word to describe the chicken shawarma is HUGE. For $8.50 you are getting a lot of food. Next, I would say tasty. I loved the banana peppers since they gave it a pickled taste and mild spice. The chicken was well seasoned and not dry at all. I did think the hot sauce, chicken, tahini, and fries did not mix well, only because it all became mushy and soggy. I'm not sure if there was feta, but there was some kind of cheese that was a great sharp touch. Overall, a lot of toppings that gave it a variety of flavors and a good amount of food for you money. Will definitely be stopping by to stop their calzones.
I stopped in for lunch today, it was my very first time here, and let me tell you - it did not disappoint! I heard good things about the chicken shawarma, so that’s what I ended up ordering. It was DELICIOUS! Best wrap I’ve ever had, hands down! The two guys working were SUPER nice! I will definitely be back! ?
Honey BBQ chicken with everything on it chicken wings fries n meatball sub 1st time there was the boom.com I will definitely be going again the workers where friendly n helpful. I was in and out with my fresh cooked food in less than 20 minutes. And I must say be time I drove home n sat down 2 eat n my food was still warm was the best. Because I leave about 20 minutes away. Found a new spot super happy

Best chicken shawarma of all time, screw it, best thing ive ever eaten. and its only 8 bucks?! the taste of that sandwich is just so incredible every time i eat it i sit there in astonishment at how the workers just go about their days like nothing. like.. do they know they make some of the most delicious food money can buy? do they know how good it is???
I love love this place it’s my favorite. But when I ordered tonight I ordered 2 calzones and they was flat and burnt and it was mostly all bread and the subs I ordered the cashier put all the wrong toppings in it and my subs were all wrong and by the time I got home they was already closed. I’m saddened by this. They’re amazing I always loved it here
Chicken Shawarma Marcelo!!!!! Best sandwich I’ve ever had. My wife loves the buffalo chicken calzone. Mozzarella sticks are the best I’ve had so far out of any restaurant I’ve been to. Staff is extremely friendly. I can’t wait to keep coming back for their amazing food. Highly recommend!!!!!
Soooo good the Shawerma calzones veeeeery yany friendly team clean Resturant good price I love to eat there . Thank for the business
Look I get that it's a calzone and shawarma place and that's great and all but I'm here for one reason - the Cesar salad. The Cesar salad at Mike's Calzones and Shawarma has no business being that delicious. Every time I eat it, I become irrationally angry at the crunchiness of the croutons, the crispness of lettuce, the abundance of cheese. But mostly the dressing --- tangy, creamy, hint of citrus, brings it all together for a ridiculous great time of a Cesar dressing. I am severely lactose intolerant but I risk it all for this salad. The shawarma is also good.
I ordered through grub hub and I was very disappointed. I got an Italian grinder. And traditionally they’re served cold. In the description on grub hub they did not specify that their grinders come toasted- if it had, I would’ve requested that they not toast it. My grinder was warm and I had to put it in the fridge and wait over an hour to eat it. Also, I requested Mayo and mustard and I didn’t see any on my sandwich, nor did I taste it. Italian grinder is one of my favorite sandwiches so when it’s prepared wrong the experience is completely ruined.
