We had a lovely dinner and the entire staff was wonderful. Most of the food was delicious— just one meal that was a little disappointing, but the portions were so generous there was plenty of food for all!

The food at Parkside is consistently really good. I had a chopped salad with salmon, corn, peppers and a light vinaigrette. It was outstanding. I always know that the specials that Parkside office each day are really exquisite dishes.

This is a fantastic restaurant with great service. The food was really good and the pace was relaxed. Our waiter was one of the best I have ever had. Extremely attentive and kind. We ate here for Easter. Wide selection of items. Everyone was happy with their meals. We will be back.

The food and service at the Parkside are always wonderful. The chicken dinners are absolutely fabulous especially the spicy cashew chicken. Frankly, it's not all that spicy but it is delicious. When the restaurant is full, it can be somewhat loud, but it's certainly better than quiet and boring. We don't make the effort to go into Providence that often but each time we go to the Parkside it makes the trip worthwhile.

I like this place as a lunch spot. They have this rotating lunch specials menu that is novel and interesting to try out at a very reasonable price. There are also many other options you can try out such as their regular lunch menu. On there are the chicken options that you could order 1/4 sizes for those that don't want to chow down on a huge meal.On a side note. The coffee is also surprisingly good, and the waiters don't seem to mind refilling my cup.

We hadn't been to Parkside in a long time and it was great to come back. The food is wonderful. Our waiter was friendly and was great at describing the food and answering our questions. It was a lovely evening and we'll be returning soon!!!

So I booked a large group here for a business meeting. Lots of moving parts and some of my colleagues took other offers for dinner and skipped my reservation for another. It was absolutely their loss. Service was outstanding. The food from apps like the dumplings, calamari and shrimp were amazing. The oysters (on special) were so good two of my co-workers cancelled the dinner they ordered and just kept eating these!! The filet mignon was better than anyplace in this city! The scallops were perfectly cooked and wonderfully sweet. The chicken was tasty too! The pork chop was about 3" thick. But even after engorging ourselves, we pushed the expense account to dessert! The chocolate lava cake was great, and so was the cheesecake. Cappuccino was a nice tasting espresso too! I give this place 7 stars! One extra for accommodating my party which was a moving target and another for our server. She really put in an effort to keep the table happy. I can't wait to be back on my own!!

Excellent food. Excellent service. I had a large party of work colleagues who came in from all parts of the country for a show at RICC. Everything was perfect here and everyone in my group loved their dinner and experience here. Our server was excellent and we were never in need of anything at our table. This is the best restaurant I have eaten at ANYWHERE in my travels in the last 10 years!
Took some customers out to dinner and we had a fantastic meal. We happen to hit it on a Thursday night when all bottles of wine were 50% off! The Somalia was very well educated and gave us an idea on what to order. The food was outstanding. Can't wait to return again. 
We ordered our drinks and food at the same time. Our wine was served within 5 minutes and two minutes later so was our food. We purposefully ate slowly because we wanted to enjoy our evening. The waitress came over several times to ask us if we need anything. When my boyfriend's plate was almost empty she came to take it away but he told her that he was still eating. I gave him some of my food to put on his plate so I could eat at my pace and not feel rushed. When we were both done the waitress asked if we wanted dessert and I told her we would just enjoy finishing our wine. She brought the check right away and a bus boy came over wanting to clear the rest of the table (water glasses and napkins) while we were still finishing our wine. We sent him away. The waitress came to take the credit card we put in the folder and came back right away to tell us that there system was down and we'd have to pay with cash. She told us there was an ATM across the street. We had enough cash to pay her and left. We were in and out of there in an hour and felt like we were being rushed the whole time so they could turn the table over. We won't be going back there.

When my wife and I are in Providence, RI. we always make it a point to eat at Parkside! We love the atmosphere, the food is always thoughtfully prepared and delicious and the weight staff is generally very attentive. Nice appetizers too!

Average if not for the irritable crew. Waitress asked if we were going to use our straws, telling us they costs a dollar a piece and proceeded to share her negative views on the matter. The hostess manager was off putting and cold. When requesting our check, the waitress gave us a lecture on the need to let the wait staff know if we had an expected time to leave so as not to rush the waitstaff. Food was pricey as it was mediocre. Drinks were meh and serve in water glasses.
