Being from Los Angeles and being Mexican, I had my reservations about eating (vegan)Mexican food in Rhode Island. Plant City is a plant-based food hall, which also includes a take-away market with a lot of great provisions to choose from. Coming for breakfast or lunch is the move! They have an absolutely delicious coffee bar inside the first floor. Their drinks menu at the coffee bar is quite large featuring house-made plant milks. We made a long drive to Providence after listening to a podcast interview on the Plant Strong podcast. We arrived on a weekday soon after the place opened and had lunch on the second level. The food was delicious and our waiter, Cole, was very friendly and attentive. We ordered two pizzas to take home with us, Basil Pesto and Buffalo Chickn (Tofu). Pizzas and our pasta dinners were both very tasty!
