We attended a Maison Ferrand cognac seminar & tasting the other night at Sapphire & it was such a fun & unique experience for us. The staff at Sapphire (Melissa, Marc, & Shiv), as well as the guest bartender (Vannaluck), went above & beyond to make the experience interactive & memorable. We were greeted immediately with a French 75 made with cognac - Did you know that the original French 75 called for cognac, as well as many other classic cocktails? No? Neither did I. The welcome aperitif was a great lil' treat to kick the night off with. We were given a mini charcuterie selection to keep us busy until the main event, which began about 20 minutes after we arrived. Vannaluck talked us through the history & characteristics of cognac. We were given 3 small pours of different cognacs to taste as well as a serendipitous, bonus mini pour at the end. Throughout the night, the kitchen sent out a variety of tapas that UTILIZED COGNAC. Cognac glaze, reduction, brine, etc. Fascinating! I went in knowing next to nothing about cognac & left with a decent understanding of the spirit. I've always wanted to do something like this, & Sapphire made it extremely accessible. It was also amazingly affordable. I'm really looking forward to more events like this one. Sign me up, please.

Good place for cocktails and snacks in providence. They're only open few days in the evening for now. There is a large patio space for group events. Got the watermelon mezcal Paloma and the assignment. The Paloma was light, and refreshing. The assignment was well balanced and delicious. Definitely recommend both. Steak sliders were pretty good, chicken sliders were Aok. Overall it was a good experience.

Awesome!!!Came with my wife Sylvia and was blown away!We sat outside on the patio. Plenty of space and cosy lighting on a wonderful summer night. A great place to chill.Excellent drinks! I had the Perfect Martini and honey had an Old Fashion. Super good!We shared the tandoori chicken which was perfectly spiced with super fresh naan. The service was amazing.Great experience. Looking forward to coming back soon.

My husband and I decided to come to Sapphire for a drink...I had really enjoyed the cocktails and the food during the recent Yelp Elite even, so I told my hubby to check out this place with me.I loved the Jacobean cocktail, so we both got this smooth scotch cocktail...Melissa made the drink with an expertise that few have and while she was making them, we engaged in conversation with Marc, the beverage manager.Both were very engaging and very friendly, making the visit very relaxed and enjoyable....we also got some steakhouse sliders that were outstanding...the meat was just slightly medium, keeping all the moistness and flavor....Overall a great place for a drink and/or light bites......The ambiance is inviting and cozy and the patio outside is great for those nice warm Rhode Island evenings....

This place is great! The patio is beautiful, the drinks are good. We didn’t have any food this time. Got a chance to talk to a co-owner and they were very kind and interested in our opinions. Wish them luck and we will be back. Highly recommended!

Such a great experience! Located right in the jewelry district “sapphire” the gem we all love. The cocktails were made with love. I had the Paloma made with fresh watermelon, espresso martini and a drink called El diablo(side note i asked for it extra spicy). The vibes of this place is definitely relaxing great for evening cocktails. I had the opportunity to eat pulled pork tacos and patatas bravas(potato wedges) both was very good and seasoned to perfection. The chef is passionate and lets just say the menu will always keep you on your toes (rotating menu).

Almost didn't want to post this because Sapphire was such a good find. This place puts out some really good vibes.Let's start with the Bartender, Melissa. She makes an incredible drink and really knows her stuff. A friend asked for a mock-tail and was really blown away by the concoction she brewed up. The Melissa's Assignment is my go-to for sure. Something she came up with on her own!They have some delicious Tapas on the menu, I had the Patatas Bravas and the Sliders. Both great, the Romesco aioli was a great addition. They also partner with the liquor store next door (Uncorked) for wine tastings, and then will prepare a menu to pair food items with the wines from the tasting. Well deserved 5 stars.

Cool little spot. Drinks are skillfully crafted and there's a unique food menu that changes. The inside is very intimate + warm, good date spot, the bartender melissa is super friendly. The patio outside is pretty spacious, a good place to gather with a group and chill out. They've been doing locally sourced pop-up food events and wine tastings on the patio so I feel like it's a fun time overall.
