Way over priced beer, small selection, bar tender was miserable. I went there for an event that was in the same building, this bar is extremely disappointing. They charge $12 for a cab of beer, sure its a tall boy but that's insane, and yet $13 for their cocktails. So someone in their company isn't good at business. I will not be going back. There are far better places within walking distance.

I love it here. We perform in the blackbox nextdoor and always stop in for food and drinks. The vegan/vegetarian options are incredible always.

Great food, good atmosphere, friendly staff and awesome events.

Seems like a nice venue. Black Box is a bit small but good for smaller crowds and a more intimate feeling. Bar was decent. Place was clean.

This used to be one of our favorite spots but it recently underwent some changes and, to be frank, it’s just not good anymore. We have tried it twice since it reopened and were quite disappointed both times… I used to crave their vegan mac and cheese and when I ordered it tonight, the new version was bland, dry, and had a strange sweetness/vanilla flavor to it, no where near what I was hoping for. If you are looking for the pre-pandemic menu and food, unfortunately it is long gone.

Unfortunately, it seems like AS220 has changed quite a bit after reopening. They used to have such INCREDIBLE vegan options, but they’re lackluster now. The tofu teriyaki sandwich was one of my favorites but now there are just two vegan sandwiches (and neither is as good as the ones before, unfortunately). The mac and cheese also used to be one of my favorites, but now it was dry, bland, and tasted like it was made with vanilla non-dairy milk. It feels like they got a new chef who doesn’t quite understand vegan food. I even miss the counter service instead of full service because it fit the vibe of the place so nicely. They did add fries to the menu, which is nice, however. I’m really hoping it goes back to how it used to be because AS220 Food was one of my favorite downtown restaurants!

Discovering AS220 Food has been a huge high of the past year or so!!! Not only is there menu extremely vegan friendly, but they constantly have amazing specials that they announce on their Instagram, AND have a community meal program where they provide free meals downtown! I am continuously blown away by how delicious their vegan options are. We ordered a delicious feast of cauliflower wings and vegan mac and cheese for New Years Eve and it was the highlight of my day! We got the teriyaki aioli with the wings which was incredible! I loved seeing a line of people waiting to pickup their takeout on New Years Eve and seeing how many people are catching on. AS220 is THE spot! I cannot say enough good things about their vegan mac and cheese. It's perfectly creamy yet crispy with the addition of breadcrumbs, and there is an amazing mac and cheese to broccoli ratio. There are rarely leftovers, but it's always exciting when I get to heat some up the day after our takeout. The service is amazing as well! I am excited to dine in person, but until then, I have no complaints about their takeout! It is truly elevated comfort food!

A handful of places in the city offer vegan Mac but I think they do it best! You can jazz it up with anything from pickles to seitan.. it tastes like homemade Mac n cheese vegan style! Love
