My new favorite bar! There are places that are just aesthetic and places that are just vibey and this place has all the vibes and is aesthetically pleasing in spades. The staff were warm and welcoming, the drinks were delicious (great NA mocktails) and the music was perfect. Already can't wait to go back!

Went with a couple of friends on Wednesday night. The Royal Bobcat is a soul enriching EXPERIENCE in terms of their food and the atmosphere. You have to go on a Wednesday or Saturday evening for the live jazz, and you have to arrive early because there is little seating, but it is 200% worth it! I haven't tried food here that was bad or just ok; everything is always amazing! The kimchi mac and cheese, the bulgogi dogs, the bulgogi cheesesteak, the wings, the dumplings, the shrimp po boy...every item is to die for!One of the most special places I've visited in Providence and a MUST GO for anyone reading this.

See also my Hanju review: Luckily a friend told us about what to expect here otherwise we would’ve been totally confused. There are two separate businesses located in one location called “The Royal Bobcat” with OUI over the entrance. If that isn’t confusing enough you’ll need to walk thru the bar area to find a couple of menus on a small counter or, you can use the QR code on each table to peruse the menu. Ring the bell on the counter and someone will appear to take your food order. If you want drinks you order from the bar. I really like the vibe of the place with stained glass and sparkly lights in an intimate setting. They also have jazz on Wednesdays and Saturdays. My only negative comment would be the bartendress who is low on the scale of friendly and never cracked a smile. Bartending isn’t difficult. Really it isn’t. I bartended in my youth in strip clubs to huge nightclubs (which is probably why I can’t hear well now). Your job is to be a purveyor of liquid happiness with a side of charm. A smile now and again will can turn this bar into a beacon of joy amidst a delightful menu of seoulful bayou Korean-Cajun fusion concoctions.Parking: Parking is tough.

The Royal Bobcat and Hanju Kitchen restaurant creates a cozy and inviting atmosphere that enhances the dining experience. The attention to detail in the decor is a feline lover's wet dream, and there's a couple nights throughout the week where live bands/music are available.

Stopped in for a pre dinner cocktail a few weeks ago. It was not busy around 5pm, only a few other customers at the bar. The bartender was friendly and good cocktails. The atmosphere was laid back. The food looked good, but we didn't order anything. I would like to visit again on the later side and watch the live music.

Good craft cocktails and the crowd is good for people watching.

I’ve been coming to the Royal Bobcat for a few years now. Great decor, great drinks, great food, the bartenders are pleasant. But I’m having trouble with it being in the speakeasy category with the overly loud, 1990s music that makes you feel like you’re at a rock concert. It doesn’t match the vibe of the place and is far from relaxing. Its Facebook & Instagram advertise it as “little jazzy cocktail bar” & “1930s jazzy New Orleans”… I hope the owners come back to its own mission statement.

Moody, fun, different. The live music absolutely crushes it every time. The bartenders make drinks to perfection. I will be back!

This is my go-to recommendation for anyone looking for something a little different on the Hill. Yes, you could go to one of the half dozen wine bars or hookah bars but wont have the same experience. This bar is dimly lit, fantastically decorated with outstanding cocktails, what else could a girl ask for? The tiny "pop-up" kitchen serves up delicious Korean dishes. Just do yourself a favor and grab a drink, spend some time and enjoy yourself.

This place was a nice surprise of chill ambiance lounge vibes with delicious Korean and Cajun food and that sour drink I got was to die for. It feels like you are down in a bar in Louisiana. I liked how different it was to order at the window even for dine in and they bring out your food after. Will definitely be returning ?

It doesn't get much cooler than live jazz every weekend. A unique spot with great cocktails. The decor and feel are too cool. They even have a Asian fusion food window for bites. I dig this spot, very different than the rest of the Atwells strip.
