Steak was extremely tough and not very flavorful. The appetizer portions were extremely small (the burrata was just a slice of burrata rather than the whole ball? very bizarre) Waitress was lovely and the ambiance was nice, but based on the food i just had, i can tell why it was nearly dead at 7:30pm on a Saturday night.

One of the best veggie burgers I've ever had. Everyone we went with enjoyed their meal. Seems like every detail and decision on the food is well considered and thought out.My wife and I are vegan thank you for having the veggie burger option! It was delicious,

Waitress was incredibly nice, the food was tasty, but the 30 something dollar duck... One proper piece and 2 ends leaves me disappointed. In hindsight I should’ve taken a picture, but maybe it wasn’t the normal chef. I don’t leave reviews, I do t know what that was

Disappointed to say that I was not impressed with most of the brunch food. The staff was friendly. Mimosas were good. Biscuits were great. Potatoes were undercooked and under-salted. The bagel with the lox plate was very thin and so tough it was challenging to chew. The eggs for the breakfast sandwich were a cooked rectangle, as was the frittata - the added ingredients were just piled on top. I wish I had known these things before coming. This place looks very good for dinner.

We tried together 5 different options. A vegetarian burger that was really dry. Octopus dish was OK, Salmon and steak came out on our table Luke warm... A banana foster was way too sweet...The place however is nice and spacious, and our waitress was really friendly and attentive...

Salted slate has some lovely brunch basics and nice cocktails but my major issue comes with the extra charges they add. Today we ordered the smoked salmon and bagel with capers and cream cheese and tomatoes. It came with a tiny ramekin of cream cheese, 5 capers and 1 tomato slice . When we asked for more capers and tomato and cream cheese we were given 5 new capers, another cut of tomato and tiny ramekin of cream cheese. The main issue came when we got the bill for this and the extra tiny ask was a $7 charge. When we asked for clarity we were told inflation. No blame on our lovely waiter but 3 drinks and 2 brunch items shouldn’t cost $87. Wish that we were treated better and not penny pinched.

I have always enjoyed the Salted Slate. Excellent and most of all Unique menu items. Delicious and creative meals and cocktails. The Peruvian Bridesmaid for instance today...blueberry in a lovely white rum concoction. Yum!

So glad this is in our neighborhood. Underrated for really great cocktails at good prices. Warm service. Cozy spot. Great veggie burger.

This neighborhood restaurant is a casual and comfortable place to enjoy breakfast, brunch, or dinner. Brunch offered both breakfast and lunch options. The menu leans heavily to cheeses, charcuterie, salads, with sandwiches for lunch. The Ahi Flatbread Sandwich of grilled yellowfin tuna, cucumber, and sprouts with charred garlic miso spread and wasabi vinaigrette, served with a locally sourced salad was exceptional. I asked and got avocado added to the salad . Others had the Bacon Burger and the Smoked Salmon Plate. The Veggie Burger was sold out when we visited and is a popular vegetarian alternative. We will have to return for dinner to try some of the tempting dishes. I hope the Salted Slate becomes a neighborhood institution.

My wife and I had the opportunity to have dinner at Salted Slate recently. We have dined there in the past, and have absolutely loved it. Unfortunately, our recent experience was not on par with our memories. While we understand that the labor market is tight, I still believe it's a reasonable expectation to have wait staff who are knowledgeable of the menu and the wine list. For us, we ordered not one but two bottles of wine, only to be told that they both were no longer available. We were offered an alternate by the bartender, but were somewhat underwhelmed with the quality of the wine relative to the price point. In simple terms, we paid $80 for a mediocre bottle of wine, because they didn't have two of the choices we selected. I understand the supply shortages, but your menu is printed on paper... I think it's worth the investment to update it to make it current. From a server perspective, my wife has a dairy allergy and we were directed towards a menu choice. While halfway through our underwhelming bottle of wine, she came over and told us that the kitchen couldn't serve it because it wasn't dairy-free. A little disappointing considering that we were told 10 minutes after placing our dinner order. One other frustration... I had dropped my fork during our appetizer. I asked the server for a new fork, but it never came and I had to "steal" silverware from a vacant table. I'm not sure if we will be revisiting....

Nice atmosphere, although did get just a tad bit loud. Very good service. Food was very good, and cocktails were delicious (best espresso martini I ever had). We were a table of 4 and ordered: Gnocchi app., calamari app., Pork entree, Pasta entree, and 2 salmon entrees. All were very satisfied with their meals.

This can't miss local farm-to-table spot hits on every point: perfectly prepared food (mafalda pasta and piri piri chicken are delicious), expertly crafted cocktails, and a terrific beer selection. It has a laid-back, folksy vibe and the service is excellent. The brunch is among the best around.
