My friend and I went on a whim. I thought the way it was decorated was very artsy and unusual. It's got a door from a jail cell which I thought was pretty cool. The people were very friendly and definitely had their own vibe. My friend and I were dressed conservatively in comparison but we didn't feel uncomfortable at all. No one gave us a second look, or maybe even a first look! I felt no judging going on there. The bar tender was super nice and friendly. It's a small place and has one pool table. Personally, I love a small place. You feel connected, especially with regulars, you feel like you've got your own tribe. We loved the place and would definitely go back.Parking: It's a neighborhood bar. Don't be intimidated by that or let that stop you. We talked briefly to a few people in the parking lot and they were super friendly. The minute I opened the door, my friend and I were pleasantly surprised and we loved the place!!!

This Place is truly a hub for such an Awesome Supportive Community. There is always an event going on or just a great place to hang out with friends. The Ownership, Staff and Patrons are welcoming. The Scurvy Dog is a great model for how a local business should take care of its customers. Thank you for being so Excellent.

The bar for people who hate people at bars. Consistent, awesome, dark and perfect. Jolly at the bar pours with a heavy hand and is genuinely the best. Mark at the door is great too! Always a cute dog dog or two in the parking lot.The live shows are awesome - I love seeing folks introduce their kids to awesome pink music. Bring back the ring toss game!!!If you hate people and light, the Dog is for you. If you happen to like people, the Dog is still for you because there's usually a lot of folks there and they're all a good time.Kid-friendliness: It's a bar so I wouldn't bring my kid, but I definitely would (and have) for their free parking lot mega shows.Parking: Huge parking lot plus the elementary school directly across the street offers dozens more spots for busy weekend nights.Wheelchair accessibility: It's tight but fully accessible.

Damn fine dive, good drinks, good music, outdoor seating for nice nights. What else do you want? A bathroom door? Get outta here

Dogs should not be permitted. The music is way too loud.
