Reuben, seasoned fries, and iced tea for $12 and change; plenty of options under $10. Everything's made right after you order, staff are all darlings. Wish places like this were still the norm.

I didn’t get a chance to visit them since they are closed on weekends which is a shame but I would love to go there for breakfast especially the scrambled eggs

Great little place in the downtown area! Tommy is a great down to earth guy! Strike up a conversation if you can! 82 years and has been working here for 63 years! Went with some friends in the chicken business and Tommy was kind enough to cook us fried chicken! Fries were really good!

Stopped by for a yummy All- American hamburger and fries. Had a few glasses of Chardonnay too! Incredibly decent prices on food and alcohol. There is no pretentiousness here….. just good food, good people and good prices. The server named Melissa was a sweetheart with a great sense of humor. Keno is here so sit back and relax. They like the customers to enjoy and hand around,

Service was good! The food was not good. My sandwich tasted like it was sitting in old cooking grease. I couldn’t eat it!

Melissa’s customer was spectacular - bacon and cheese omelette was good. Strong coffee. The owner Tommy introduced himself and welcomed us. Awesome place - very low key and peaceful.

I’m sorry. The people here are really nice. So nice it’s hard to leave a bad review, but you must be warned. The food is terrible. Now, we were disappointed because we were hoping for breakfast but we were too late so we ordered lunch. Maybe breakfast is better. My burger was undercooked (moooo!) and on an ordinary bun I can buy at the grocery store. The onion rings tasted like they were deep fried in the same oil they fry fish in. My wife’s Philly cheese steak seemed bought from Costco and microwaved: just meat and cheese, no onions, peppers, sauce, or flavor. But it’s a good story to tell how we went to Providence and had one of our worst meals ever. Sorry again. They are very nice people.

Support a local small business and go to Tommy's Place instead of another chain restaurant. There's no other place like Tommy's Place in Providence! Nothing compares to the personal service you get from Tommy himself and his home cooked meals. Delicious breakfast on the grill not microwaved like many places. Some of my lunch favorites are American Chop Suey, Pulled Pork, Burgers, Chicken Cutlet and Fried Shrimp. There is a wide variety on the menu with something for everyone. Very reasonable prices too! There's a reason many of his regulars like myself self have continued to go there for over 25 years.

This place was terrible. It was freezing inside the food was blah not worth going there. The cook was a very nice guy and our waitress was nice but other than that I wouldn't go

A great spot for a casual breakfast with wallet-friendly prices. Our server was friendly, kind and attentive. Definitely would recommend this for a reasonably priced meal in the middle of the city. The menu had a variety of egg, omelette, pancake and French toast options. My family had three egg based meals and one order of French toast. We were given generous, but not overwhelming, portions and everything tasted great. The total cost for four meals, two OJs, a soda and a coffee was less than $40.The restaurant furnishings and decor are dated but it feels authentic to the vibe.Kid-friendliness: Variety of seating sections (diner style counter, bar seating, plenty of low tables); quick turnaround on food; standard breakfast options.

The place should update their hours since the bartender tends to shut the place down by 3:30/4pm. The white bartender tends to use the N word a lot and is always rambling off about how she used to deal in downtown. Definitely will not be coming back anymore.

Stopped in while visiting Providence and had a lovely breakfast! Everyone there was incredibly warm and welcoming. I ordered a mushroom and cheese omelette which was delicious, and my son loved his blueberry pancakes. We'll definitely be back next time we're in town :)

I liked this place better than it deserved. It's a dive. Clearly a regular clientele props it up. It looks like maybe it used to have food. If I lived there I would probably hang out there which maybe says more about me than you need to know. ?Sadly, I bought a lottery ticket there and did not win so back to work on Monday.
